COMPLIANCE DOESN'T IMPLICATE FEAR

OMICRON: A Biblical Event

Is this a horrible time in our human history: a fiction written by science to scare us all, or it's actual reality? Seeing billions of people from New York to Peking wearing masks that make breathing hard even for children, it's heartbreaking. Doom has descended upon us: we are a rebellious human race, denying the consequences of our actions, feeding on misconceptions about the vaccination meant to save lives, not to spread misinformation by fanatics and fools who have caused extensive damage to fallacious minds. I didn't resist the vax, as as a matter of fact, I was one of the first participants in line at the mass vaccination facility at the Aquaduct Race Track in Ozone Park, Queens, NY.

I had restless nights like millions around the country and the world, I falsely assumed it was the caffeine keeping me awake; it might have been insomnia, but I ignored the symptoms: I had the hardest time falling asleep. The horrendous images of the caskets in Bergamo, Italy made me mourn every single person subdued by the ferocious, deadly Covid-19 as if they were members of my family, not strangers from thousands of miles away. What kept me sane and in good mental shape was the writing of poetry, short stories, and the composing of music from my own lyrics. My spirit was low but my perception was aware of my surroundings, nevertheless to think that I could have been one of the victims of this deadly plague sweeping the planet with enormous speed and vengeance...had I not used my tactful prevention never used before: washing my hands constantly more than ten times a day; wearing a mask whenever I went: on public transportation or going to the to Food Emporium to pick the necessary items that most times were scarce on the food shelves. Has anyone thought of drought and famine lately? This scary image was similar: that awful feeling of having nothing and starving to death.

Let's discuss the reality of this drastic pandemic that has hit the core of our livelihood and happiness never appreciated so intensely before, and we lost most of it for our childish foolishness and stubborn mentality, not having listened to the headings of science on the Media and elsewhere, but most of us scoffed at it thinking it was a hoax by Bill Gate, or other wealthy billionaires. They were completely wrong, assuming a false conspiracy of the genocide of the Human Kind. Omicron more than Covid-19 is is spreading more quickly than a wildfire.

My aversion to being vaccinated was nearly zero, I showed no signs of trauma and frightening mood. It took one minute to be inoculated, and presto it was done! The symptoms were very mild: a sore arm and a slight headache. The next morning I was better than I ever had been before. My state of mind was transformed to a new being walking the streets of Lindenwood where people were depressed, moody, angry, and having lost their sense of sociability: they were extremely hostile to anybody and anything around them. The latest news on FaceBook was about the famous tennis player, Djokovic, being expelled from the Australian Open in Melbourne for refusing the vaccination. How smart was he? He has admitted his luck has run out, now is being replaced by the Italian tennis player Salvo Caruso, but he was beaten in the semi-finals: it was a chance of a lifetime that he missed out on being a loser. Does stubbornness pay off? No, it teaches us one of the earnest lessons in ways we'll regret bitterly. I've seen folks grieve for their loss, and change their minds afterward. Do we need a crude awakening to actual facts to heed the warnings? Spare your life and of the ones you love, do it for the love of yourself and others, don't let guilt linger any longer witnessing the tragic deaths that could have been spared with three shots of the jab! Take a look at the above picture of a masked Mona Lisa: she's still smiling amid these frightening and isolated days we are living and enduring with boldness and patience in the midst of grief and fading hope: we have finally understood that compliance doesn't implicate fear.
