The word hustle is often emphasized a lot by the social media influencers and motivational videos, the world we dwell in is established by humans who thrive in whatever they stumble upon. Society has emerged from the foundationalism of being ultra productive every day to achieve milestones after milestones in every step of your trajectory. But the question lies how do we stay fluid towards every circumstance life brings upon us and work tirelessly towards our aims and desires. Achievements are often sources of validation for self that build our esteem and trust in the decisions we make for ourselves. It is normal for an individual to not forge their way restricted by the timelines that are benchmarked upon us. One Step at a time
The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step, a notion that I have embraced and ingrained in my psyche through the discourse of years. Life has its own ways of teaching you its lessons of joy, contempt, hatred, distress, love and healing. We dance, we stumble, we cry, we mourn and we get up. In the hours of plight we hold on to the tiniest peonies of hope, to get on the other side of life, to face the light, to face radiance that our soul craves and to be the best version of us that we have ever been. The healed version of us, the version of us that loves what they do and have faith in how far they can go and hold immense pride in how far they have come.

Why I Love Conversation
Introduction Yesterday I spent about six hours on trains and had forgotten my Kindle so couldn't play Backgammon, or read one of the hundreds of books on there (though I could have read them on my phone, but I find reading books on a phone a bit of a bind after a few pages) so I had a lot of time to think about the various forms of one-to-one communications we have and how some are more appropriate than others depending on the circumstances.

It’s another week of teaching, and I am stuck in front of my laptop trying to avoid marking anything. It is Saturday night, and I still think that I am taking a chance by avoiding all the grading I have ahead of me. But some things cannot wait. I am dealing with the stress of the college and the request that I add more to a schedule that simply cannot take it. My mind needs to clear itself of a lot of detritus and this is the best way I can think of, besides the guitar and the promise to learn how to draw. All that can wait. This has to come out.

Part 2: Orphanage in Milan: My Experience
--- In Italy, there's a legend that when a child loses a tooth, if they put it under their pillow before bed, a mouse (or the tooth fairy, depending on the region) will come during the night, take the tooth, and leave money in exchange. I vividly remember the day I lost my first tooth. The caregiver on duty suggested I place it under my pillow and told me the story of the mouse, also recommending that I write down if I had any special wishes. I felt excited and a bit scared at the idea of a mouse coming at night to take my tooth and leave me money. I wondered: why would it give me money for a tooth? And what did it do with the tooth anyway? I found no answers and decided to ignore those questions. Instead, I wrote a note asking if the mouse could leave me enough money to buy a new toy car at the market. I phrased it as a question: "Could you leave me 1000 lire for a new toy car?", or something like that.
