Adventure
Inevitable
INEVITABLE BY HARRISON STEWART The light behind him faded fast, and soon the curtain of the world snapped shut. Darkness swarmed instantly, filling every crack and crevice. The bright and joyful world of the living was behind him. Beyond the world of the dead. Dense, grey fog blanketed the horizon, and dark water burbled beneath the boat as it carried the cloaked figure forward into the abyss. In the distance, a coastline began to emerge through the fog. Closer and closer, it came into full view. A dark pebbled beach and a ruined town. A shanty pier stretched out like a dying limb, as it beckoned the boat.

Thick Madam And Her iphones
“Thick Madam And Her IPhones” I sat on the long form in front of my lodge, wondering how I will navigate my way to the local government secretariat for I have never been there. I knew the town it was situated in but I don’t actually know how to and where to enter bus that will take me there without wasting my meagre resources.

The Shadow Underneath Us
Curiosity is a strange beast indeed. If we were never compelled to explore the darkest regions of this world, to open the mystery box, or investigate the eerie noises that fill the night, it’s certain we wouldn’t be where we all are today. Every waking minute the mind is hungry for the unknown. It fills with a longing to be filled. But you can never fully fill it. That you could say was my first revelation, and even in good intention it was nevertheless a step on the road to darker dreams.

Genes’ Entire Journal
Genes’ Journal July 07, 2510 The worse of the worst has already happened; we’re just here picking up the leftovers. No one knew it was coming, but it happened. This wasn’t foretold by a past civilization, and this wasn’t in any book; humanity paid the ultimate price because of it. Three humanoid beings, unlike any other, came to retrieve something that was lost, and they will do anything to get it back. Sadly, with most of humanity wiped off the face of the planet it is hard to find anyone willing to sacrifice themselves for others. Out of all the groups fighting on the front lines to protect what is left my group is the smallest. Other than me there is only 4 others, Alice Berkley, the twins Lenny and Rose, and lastly Leslie Johnson the 3rd. We try our best to survive on a weekly basis, but this hellscape we’re in isn’t the easiest. Currently we are switching camps, so I’ll explain more in the morning.

The Life And Death Of Jeremiah Ward
"Jeremiah August Ward passed away on September 7th, 2022 but, his name is of little consequence. He will not be missed or remembered. His body is but a trivial thing and, it is not to be looked for. He died in the only place that he ever felt comfortable. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Cynthia Ward. He leaves all of his belonging to Bob Fredrick Jensen, the only person who could half stand him."

Weight of the World
The blinking green light was the first thing I saw when my eyes opened. It flashed -in, out, in, out- as if on a timer. Everything was dark save for that light, yet my eyes had no trouble deciphering the shapes and forms surrounding me. Maybe I can't tell what they are, given my limited knowledge of the world of humans, but at least I can see.
