THE BACHELOR IN ETHERIA
The Sorceress's portal did indeed spit us out in Etheria; for all of my times watching "He-Man," I religiously paid close attention to "She-Ra" as well. Nevertheless, as Adam and Cringer emerged from the portal as well, I glanced around to realize that this was not the Whispering Woods of the Rebel Camp. Then again, it was clearly not the Horde's Fright Zone either.

Crown of Mandrakes
Disclaimer: The following is a work of fanfiction based on J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series. Apart from several characters, and the odd creative liberty of my own creation, I have tried to stay as true to the magical laws and history of Rowling's world as possible for the reader's enjoyment. However, this is not canon.

Tale of Two Dark Towers
Looking back at the time frame, I can't honestly say I remember the exact day I saw the commercial for The Dark Tower. It was a trailer of the film being released on the 4th of August 2017, and it starred all the right faces. Handsome and talented Matthew McConaughey as the Man in Black and the dreamy British Idris Elba as the Gunslinger. But it wasn't the heavy-hitter actors that caught my eye. Instead, the blurb towards the end of the trailer that said it was based on a Stephen King book.

Not So Random Fandom
Ooh, this one's a toughie. Pick the best fandom, defend your choice against all comers? Suddenly I'm reminded of the great George Takei, whose comment on the Star Trek versus Star Wars schism is the perfect summation of the subject (I'm paraphrasing): "We must join forces and unite against our common enemy - Twilight!"

Dragon Riders
Dragons, can it be any better? I first discovered Pern in Anne McCaffrey’s The Dragonriders of Pern, a three book compilation offered on discount through a book club. As a young adult I would read pretty much anything with dragons and being on a budget, three books for the price of one instantly made it a winner in my eyes.
