The Little Prince
One of the most precious and famous classics in history around the world must definitely be “The Little Prince” by French aristocrat, writer, and aviator Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. Despite being perceived as a children tale, Antoine expressed that wasn’t the purpose of his novel and was not intended for kids at all. Actually, the book represents many of his personal experiences and the little prince, who remained forever tethered to Antoine, experienced a terribly similar fate as him, disappearing without a trace. This mysticism has become the novel’s signature.

Tale of Two Dark Towers
Looking back at the time frame, I can't honestly say I remember the exact day I saw the commercial for The Dark Tower. It was a trailer of the film being released on the 4th of August 2017, and it starred all the right faces. Handsome and talented Matthew McConaughey as the Man in Black and the dreamy British Idris Elba as the Gunslinger. But it wasn't the heavy-hitter actors that caught my eye. Instead, the blurb towards the end of the trailer that said it was based on a Stephen King book.

Dragon Riders
Dragons, can it be any better? I first discovered Pern in Anne McCaffrey’s The Dragonriders of Pern, a three book compilation offered on discount through a book club. As a young adult I would read pretty much anything with dragons and being on a budget, three books for the price of one instantly made it a winner in my eyes.
