‘Concerning Witchcraft’ by Maxfield Parrish, 1915
Introduction
This image from The Enchanted Booklet on Facebook told me a story. You may read it below:
The music is "The Witch" by The Rattles
The Witch Moon
The Moon is full, and the Witch know that it is for her. It gives her the power to fly and to cast her spells. The night is dark and cool, and no one can see her apart from cats and other witches.
On her broom she flies, higher than the trees in the light of the silver moon, Luna to her.
The Witch cares for nature and the creatures below. She's their protector and guardian. They will protect her as she protects them.
Flying back to her cottage, to brew potions and cast spells with Greymalkin, her black cat.
