Time Stands Still. Top Story - October 2017.
This wasn’t the first time I was meeting Jacob. I have Skyped a few times with him, just to get a better idea of what he was like before I decided to go and shoot with him. We went over ideas, wardrobe, themes, and decided to go with an American Apparel type feel of a shoot. So yes, this was the first time I was going to meet him physically in person, but I wasn’t shy. Just a little reserved at first, as I usually am.

Cam Girl Safety
So recently I decided to start back as a cam girl. But sometimes it can be hard to get back on the horse (so to speak). I am a married woman, and sometimes my husband gets iffy about my job choice. It can be difficult for him to understand that while I enjoy my job, it's nothing more than an act. Not much different than those on the big screen. It can seem realistic to those watching, but it's only me playing a part. Being a cam girl comes with its risks, and some women don't realize that while the site they stream on gives the ability to block certain states from being able to tune in, you WILL end up on the internet. A lot of men use screen recorders so than they can re-watch later or share with their friends. With that being said, some women in this particular industry probably shouldn't be, but I won't say that they don't have the right to choose the profession that they want. It's not my right to chastise them, and I don't. If you are currently considering getting into this job, here are some things to consider.

Does PornHub Really Care?
You know PornHub, but for the sake of appearances let's say this is the first time you've ever heard of the site. It is, hands down, one of the biggest, most popular porn sites on the internet. We're talking more than 78 billion views in 2014 (which was about 5,800 views per second, in case you were curious) kind of popular. In fact, the site has so much traffic that when Fallout 4 wanted to brag about how popular it was, it cited the fact that it had dropped PornHub's traffic by 10 percent on release day.

Grief in Sex Work
She was an online friend that I knew did phone sex work; I chatted to her via MSN and she kept strange hours. One day, she came out to me about her job. I laughed and didn't think much of it. A couple of months later, she sent me a message asking me if I could "help her out." She had a guy looking to book her for a phone chat for Domination — he wanted to be laughed at and mocked for ten minutes by two women, and if I did it, she would transfer £20 into my bank. The sell to me was that I was her "bitchiest friend, and I'd be perfect for it"', followed by a giggle.

Equal Op-porn-tunity
The porn community is working harder all the time to change their culture into a respectable industry like any other. One of the problems they are going to have to deal with is Equal Opportunity. I don’t say this to point fingers at anyone, because that isn’t how you solve problems. Knowing the truth about American history, we see that without a deliberate effort to change, the racist practices of the past haunt us. Most white Americans do racist things all of the time, but I would venture that 99 percent of them aren’t racists. The problem is that some racist traits have become so ingrained in American culture that we can’t tell that they are racist. However, that’s not an acceptable excuse.
