The Future of Our Brains
Technological advancement and development have allowed us to understand our bodies and the way we work more than ever before. Innovations in both science and technology have led us to cure most diseases that were present on earth for centuries. Recent companies like Kernel and Neuralink develop technologies to understand and treat neurological diseases and with the information gathered, they hope to create applications and implants to enhance the brain. Research and technologies to cure brain disorders are a must and would have a huge positive impact in our world, but looking past that to create enhancement and applications for the brain would be changing the authenticity of what a being human is and taking life to another level that we’ve never even dreamed of. Progress in neuroscience has cured and helped many suffering from disorders, yet there is still a lot more research and technologies to develop to fully understand the brain, and wanting to enhance it with applications and implants is a lot more dangerous than we might expect.

Using Neural Stem Cell Therapy to Treat TBIs
Stem cells are undifferentiated cells found inside the body and have the capability of generating lineage-specific cells. Neurons are different from other cells in our body because they don't undergo mitosis and division after determination and differentiation.

Science Has Not Failed Us
Science has not necessarily failed the human race. It is the politics behind new discoveries that fail the human race, not science itself. We have advanced our technology because of the way we work on scientific discoveries. Ever since the invention of iron for swords, the human race has steadily invented other ideas. Science is something we all need to understand. It might yet cure the human race from our sufferings. Scientific advances such as the discovery of insulin helped talented type-1 diabetics remain in the gene pool when before 1920, people just slowly wasted away.

For Every Human in the United States
I’ve come to the conclusion that climate change happens all over the planet, not just at home in the United States. The Australian Great Barrier reef is constantly affected by climate problems. The Gobi Desert in Northern China may have rare animals such as snow leopards, and Bactrian Camels, (two-humped camels), but the desert keeps growing.

Soil Destruction
Soil degradation means that soil is not being used to its fullest potential for agricultural use. (Source) This is because soil degradation is becoming a massive problem on this planet. The soil is a fundamental national resource, as the basis for all life on this planet. There is a huge problem on this planet right now with soil management on the forefront. The problem is a decline in soil fertility. There is also a problem with erosion as well as adverse changes in salinity. Water, wind, salinity, loss of organic matter, and more are the cause of soil problems. This can happen in other countries besides the United States.

Groundwater Depletion
Groundwater depletion is a growing problem on this planet today. It comes from, as usual, humans overusing their ability to draw groundwater out of our environment. Surface water is not always easily accessed in the United States. Groundwater is the source of drinking water for half the total population and nearly all of the rural population. (Source) Groundwater depletion simply means that excessive of groundwater is a key situation that needs to be addressed more. Groundwater depletion will create wells that dry up since waters and lakes have less water in it when the water is siphoned. The water quality is not as good as it needs to be because there are increases in pumping costs when there is a sinking in the earth's surface.

Wildlife Goes Extinct on Our Planet
Earth has had multiple mass extinctions. It will keep happening as a natural evolutionary cycle or perhaps because of the activities of man. The Endangered Species Act was set up in 1973 to save us from ourselves because, since the beginning of the 21st century, we have lost 17 animal species. For example, the Pinta Island Tortoise on June 24, 2012, whose ultimate survivor named Lonesome George, died at over 100-years-old. If we do not curb greenhouse gas emissions, we will cause more extinction.

11 Little Known Facts About Nikola Tesla
1. Tesla Worked for Thomas Edison Tesla focused on engineering AC currents while Edison invested most of his money to the use of DC currents. This would lead to a rivalry between the two. Tesla spent his life working to harness enough electricity from the Earth alone to supply everyone and everything the energy demanded, for free. Edison worked to make a profit from it. He would eventually do everything in his power to discredit Tesla's work to promote his own and he would be relatively successful. Still today Tesla does not receive the credit deserved for his 700-plus patents throughout his lifetime.

Biodegradable Plastics Currently Available
Apparently, there already are two different types of biodegradable plastic on the market that we need to start introducing into manufacturing. These are known as oxo-biodegradable, (oxygen) and hydro-biodegradable (hydrolysis), both types emit

Climate Change Evidence
Denial is not just a dried up river in Africa. Earth has cooling periods also known as Ice Ages and warming periods, such as the global warming that occurs in 2018. There is much evidence of the existence of global warming. Shells in glacial deposits help scientists decide a “maximum age for the glacier advance.” These shells had been preserved for 14,000 years because of being well preserved. In the past, Britain and Ireland’s winters were very cold. This was in the remote past. Global warming is surely influenced by human activity but it is also part of a natural cycle of weather on this planet.

11 Things You May Not Know About Albert Einstein
1. Einstein failed his first college placement test. It was clear from the beginning that Albert was rather different. He was considered to have a speech impediment that caused him to speak very slowly. He would rehearse full sentences in his head before he would speak them.
