Get In Loser, We're Going to Outer Space. Top Story - May 2020.
I don't know about anyone else, but boy am I tired of living on Earth right now. Maybe my agitation is more towards the people running Earth than the planet itself. Still, I'd like one day where I don't have to read headlines of fires burning down the amazon, rising sea levels, ignorant politicians, racism, homophobia, poverty, school shootings, animals going extinct, and now, a global pandemic. Sure - I will do my part as an Earthling to help change these horrible things, but that doesn't mean I don't need a break from it all. It's overwhelming, thank you very much.

The Spiders from Mars or How I'm Spending Time After Quarantine. Top Story - May 2020.
When Governor Murphy gives the okay, I’m out of here. Straight down the turnpike and straight towards the sky to fly off in a thirty foot rocket full of cheese wiz and French Champlain. Ritz crackers lull me to sleep as I ascend & drift off through our compromised atmosphere. I float weightless around my new home as I journey on past the Moon past Venus to our first destination Mercury.

Is the Earth Flat? The answer is NO!!!!!!
The belief that the Earth is flat has been described as the ultimate conspiracy theory. Members of the Flat Earth Society claim to believe the Earth is flat. Walking around on the planet's surface, it looks and feels flat, so they deem all evidence to the contrary, such as satellite photos of Earth as a sphere, to be fabrications of a "round Earth conspiracy" orchestrated by NASA and other government agencies.

On the Shoulders of Giants to the Stars
At the beginning of the space race, there was a motion to put man in space fastest. No grammar did not matter the only thing that did matter was beating the Russians, except when it came to putting a woman in space. Russia beat us by almost 20 years by sending Cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova. It was not because we did not have competent women ready to go to space, in fact, there were thirteen of them and they were called the Mercury Thirteen, but because at the time women were still seen as belonging in the kitchen.

Incredible History of the Solar System
The universe is a huge place and people exist in a small part of it. The area human beings, animals, and other creatures occupy is what is referred to as the Solar System. It comprises formations which we recognize as planets, satellites that orbit these planets, and an average-sized star that we identify as the Sun. The four inner planets of the solar system are known as ‘Terrestrial Planets.’ This is because their major components are metals and silicate rocks. The other four planets are identified as ‘Jovian’ planets. Also, you can refer to them as ‘gas giants.’

Earthbase
Each night, when I can, I wander out into the open space of Earth place Bakersfield/Oildale, a base somewhere between the long airstrips of coastal California, such as Edwards Air Force Base, where the civilian Space Shuttles (Endeavor, Columbia, etc.) once landed, and the central state spaceports, such as Shreiver Airbase in Colorado, and Sir Richard Branson's spaceport in New Mexico.
