Nine people spent five hours in the air after a roller coaster broke down in Britain Nine people were stranded in the air for five hours after a roller coaster at a Scottish amusement park broke down. The amusement park operator claims visitors will be able to experience plenty of twists and turns, as well as thrilling speeds of up to 40 miles per hour. The accident happened at 4.30pm on July 3, when the ride came to a sudden stop as it was hurtling along the tracks, leaving nine passengers stranded in the air. The local fire department immediately sent people to organize rescue, until all the passengers were rescued, it was more than 9 p.m.

What’s So Funny? Television Comedy by Generation Television situational comedies and comedy sketch shows are designed to please a particular demographic. The shows with the most longevity are time relevant to the audience for which it is written. The writers success is measured by whether or not they have moved their audience to laughter. But why is it funny? What makes the audience laugh? One may argue that we are born with a degree of what appeals to us comedically, or perhaps we laugh at what our parents have told us is funny and what they laugh at. But when you analyze the formats of popular comedy television shows, we begin to see they are a result of the environment in which we are surrounded, both familial and societal. And what each generation finds humorous has and will continue to change with each generation.

As I embark on my most ambitious writing venture yet, I have discovered things that I wish my readers to pay attention to. I am currently gathering research for my Master of Arts Dissertation in International Relations and European Politics, at one of the most uncertain times of modern human history. I have felt it so concerning, that I implore you to read (and watch) all the way to the very end. We live in quite frightening times. We are in an era of the unknown, and yet we carry on as normal - it's strange how conformed we are to routine, and again concerning. Given what I am about to present to you will probably feel like taking the red pill and falling down the rabbit hole.
