The cicadas are coming! The cicadas are coming! In the Book of Exodus, the God of Israel sent a plague of locusts upon the land of Egypt. These pests covered every tree and plant and ravaged the land by eating every thing that could be eaten. Though sometimes confused with locusts, the hordes of insects surfacing within the next month are not ravagers like the locusts but are relatively harmless cicadas.

Flat Earthers: it’s not funny anymore
I remember in the early days of the Flat Earth internet frenzy, people were still wondering if this is a joke that some trolls perhaps have taken too far. To our horror today, we have discovered that it wasn’t trolls after all. These are people that actually believe that the Earth is flat, they have books, conferences, youtube channels, wikis, facebook pages and whole communities discussing this. These are people that have thrown away all scientific progress in the past 2 Millenia. They have decided to carry the mental burden of believing that Gravity is a lie, that light traveling in straight lines is a lie, that Galilean relativity is a lie. And that every government, pilot, ship captain, geologian, astronomer is in on the conspiracy. And they would rather accept this (and a much longer list) than to accept the Earth’s true shape.

10. Anaconda Anacondas are found in the wet lands of South America. Anaconda is basically a giant which hunts using power and stealth, growing to almost 28 feet long and weighing up to 450 pounds! The anaconda is the largest snake on earth. It uses water to support its massive bulk. This giant deadly snake can easily kill a human but there is no firm proof that it ever has. Only rumors have been heard about it but the movies never fail to show them as extremely deadly snakes! It’s easy to see why people are afraid of this monster, it silently waits just beneath the surface of water for its pray to come in its striking range. Anacondas can strike up to a third of its length which is almost 9 feet for a fully grown Anaconda! The Anaconda doesn’t kill with venom, these deadly snakes are constrictors which crush the life out of their victims. These deadly snakes are so powerful that their hold causes the blood vessels the heart and brain to rupture. There is not a single living animal in South America that can survive the Anacondas attack. Even the cousin of the Alligator is not safe; a black caiman is about the largest thing that the Anaconda can swallow in a single go! Like all deadly snakes, the Anaconda has an extremely flexible jaw that can stretch to accommodate a pray several times its size.

How to Cope with Tinnitus
I hate the word cope. Merriam Webster offers a couple of different definitions for cope. The first, is to deal with and attempt to overcome problems and difficulties —often used with with. The second, is to maintain a contest or combat usually on even terms or with success —used with with. Both definitions describe coping as battling with a certain difficulty or frustration. In my honest opinion, the word cope, offers little hope. It is not my intention to be discouraging, I'm just sharing the reality of my own experience. For instance, I am coping with tinnitus.
