Best Super Mario Bros. Games Ever Created. Top Story - October 2017.
It's not a stretch to say the Italian plumber, Super Mario, has influenced almost every adventure-style game that came after it. These massive video game worlds of today wouldn't exist without the iconic game's incredible influence — which dates back almost 40 years at this point.

'Giants War' Beta Review
I will begin this review making it clear that this is not a sponsored review. With that out of the way, I can not recommend Giants War enough. Although its tutorial is slow and exceedingly long (as are many mobile gaming tutorials), it quickly makes up for it with its fast past battles, beautiful graphics, as well as the replacement of the dreaded Energy based system, and instead choosing to use the in-game currency to not only buy/sell/upgrade items, but also preform the same function as energy in many of the Gamevil games we already love.

Shadow of War Review
Reviewed by Some Guy Monolith's New Stealth/Action RPG Shadow of War is an open world action/stealth game by Monolith Productions. The “open-world” of the game is made up of several areas, all in or around Mordor. You start the game trying to track Celebrimbor’s kidnapper through Cirith Ungol. You may recognize this as being the area from The Return of the King where Sam fought Shelob the Spider and rescued Frodo from the Orcs. After a quick tutorial here, the first real area of the game is Minas Ithil, “The Tower of the Moon,” as you help the Gondorian defenders hold the city against the Witch-King’s forces. And after the first cutscene explaining that… Yeah, you can pretty much do whatever you like, it throws you into a sandbox.

Relationships Within Video Games
In the modern age, video games have continuously built upon relationships between the various virtual characters and the player. The Sims and Mass Effect series are well-known for the relationships that the player can have with a multitude of characters. I have played both, and with each, I have a moral decision on who I should and shouldn't try to have relations with.

Gaming, Dad Style
I've always enjoyed gaming—maybe a little too much, at times—but at the beginning of this year, I found out I was going to be a father. Putting aside all the emotions that come with that, I set out to find ways to make my habit a little easier to keep up, even with a newborn around.

Review: Sky Factory 3
I thought to play Minecraft was already difficult enough when I first picked it up a few years ago, but with the release of different mods and such, little did I know that it could get a lot more difficult, and you could be playing a whole different game.

Word Cookies: Review
Word Cookies is a cute little mobile game developed by BitMango (very nice people in my opinion), the game is available to play on Android and Apple. You can find it in the Google Play Store and iTunes, plus there is another version of game on Yiv.com with an 85% rating on it (that's pretty good).

Overwatch Woes
Overwatch. Oh so many powerful emotions. The rise in anger and frustration as you see a sniper jump off edge of a map. The exaltation screamed in glory as you slaughter your enemies can turn into one of surprise in an instant. The constant changes in characters, landscapes, and opponents leave me breathless, waiting for more!

Female Gamers
Forty-eight percent of the gaming community is female. That is an eight percent increase since 2010. You would think that with such increase, the gaming community would not only tolerate females but embrace them as well. Instead, many females who pick up a controller (or rock a keyboard) are called "fake gamers". Flirtation is rampant; sexist comments are normal.

Why I'm Hype as F*** for Super Mario Odyssey
I never got to play Super Mario 64. It was a bit before my time. Apparently, it was one of the most mind-blowing games of the time, along with Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I didn't have a Nintendo 64. Video games were seen at the time as still a "boys" thing to do. I did have a Gameboy Color, though, which I was able to convince my parents to get me because it was so cheap in comparison. Pokemon Yellow was my first Nintendo game, and I never looked back.

Why 'Rainbow Six Siege' Is Broken
Something that grinds my gears about Rainbow Six, even though it's been out for nearly two years, is that it's not even close to being a great game when it should be already. So below I'll just name a few things that desperately need to be fixed/worked on.
