You arrive at a dimly lit carnival, the joyous screams of children echoing throughout the grounds. They’re broken for a moment by the horrifying grunt of your first assailant. A clown, demented and twisted by whatever supernatural horrors await, swipes at you. Your only escape is through the ominous facade of a clown’s head, its teeth sharpened and its eyes glowing under a neon hue. Rushing through its mouth, you hope to escape the monstrosity at your heels, unaware that you’ve run right into your very own East Coast Nightmares.

My Predictions for The Last of Us II
In May 2020, Naughy Dog is once again immersing us into the dark, dreary, and depressing world of The Last of Us. With the focus primarily on Ellie, now grown and full of rage, the highly anticipated follow-up is sure to be just as emotionally charged as the original. It is Naughty Dog, after all, a developer known for drawing raw emotion from its fanbase.

'Friday the 13th' Vs. 'Dead by Daylight'
Hello, and welcome back to The Great Debates where Freddy and Jason are getting the long awaited rematch. Asymmetrical multiplayer games are nothing new. One of the coolest modes in the early Halo games was "Juggernaut" where one player would actively hunt the others. However, it was in this console generation where that one mode would become the focus of entire games. The first major attempt at that was Evolve, which drowned its cool concept under tons of corporate crap. That could be forgiven as two much better examples came to consoles in 2017. Those games are Friday the 13th: The Game and Dead by Daylight.

'Blair Witch' to Continue Reign of Terror in Chilling New Video Game
The original found-footage masterpiece was something that I thought was real—that is, up until I discovered it was all just a successful marketing campaign. That was one of the first film’s to go viral before the social media craze had taken over. And while the first movie still ranks high on my favorites list, its sequels do not. The Book of Shadows film is easily forgettable, and the 2016 reboot took me a few sittings to get through. One would think this franchise has everything to would need to become a horror powerhouse spawning out sequel after sequel, like the Paranormal Activity films. I mean you've got the creepy woods, unsettling folklore, occultist themes, terrifying demon-witch lady, and still, it hasn't seemed to ever duplicate the success the original had unexpectedly received. But it seems the evil presence out in the Black Hills Forest will get another chance to terrify audiences but this time it's all going down on the console. The next chapter in the dreaded Blair Witch saga will be in the form of a video game launching at the end of August.

'Dead by Daylight'
Dead by Daylight is an asymmetrical survival horror game that puts four survivors against one killer in an escape or die round. The killers have a weapon, a power, add ons and four perks, and they’re tasked with catching the survivors, knocking them down and putting them on a hook to sacrifice them to the entity. The survivor can take an item with add ons and they have four perks, and their task is to repair five generators to power exit gates to escape the entity’s realm. If a teammate is hooked, they can be rescued from the hook, but after three hookings, the survivor is sacrificed.

6 Perks in 'Dead by Daylight' I Love!
Dead by Daylight is an asymmetrical multiplayer horror game for Steam, Xbox One, Playstation 4, and coming soon to mobile and Nintendo Switch. All that might sound a little hard to understand, but what the game is, is a lot of fun. One player plays as a killer, and four other players take on the role of survivors. The survivors need to work to restore power to five generators located around a randomly selected map in order to power an exit gate and leave the map. The killer tries to hook the survivors on a meat hook so that the ruler of this world, The Entity can feed on them. In the game both survivors and killers have an ever-growing library of perks to choose from to help them either escape or kill. For this story I am going to be covering some of my favorite survivor perks, as well as showing you how to use them.
