Are you a sports gamer? NBA video games have consistently been a hit with fans of both video games and basketball throughout the years. While new updated versions continue to come onto the market each year with better graphics and performance, video game players continue to play older versions because of the nostalgia associated with them, certain game performance features, and because of their preference in consoles. While new versions are being developed and released, many gamers don't always have the resources to change up their gaming system; therefore, the older games continue to stay popular. We have made a list of some of the best video games you can play to emulate your favorite NBA team or player of all time, both new and old, for video gamers to enjoy. Check it out below.

'Battle for Azeroth's' Cutscene Problem
Blizzard's cinematics are some of the best in the industry, from the hype-inducing animations released before the start of every World of Warcraft expansion to the new story and character cinematics regularly released for Overwatch. Since Warcraft 3, Blizzard has carefully scrutinized its cinematics and been ahead of the industry in its desire to faithfully recreate its world in ten minutes or less. And with its latest, "Old Soldier," being hailed as one of its best, this is no less true today than ever; these cinematics put the player into the story in a way that almost nothing else in the game can.

Can We Trust "Big Name" Games' Journalism Outlets?
As everyone in the gaming community has heard by now, gaming journalism giant IGN recently fired an employee for plagiarism. This firing has lead to the discovery of a pervasive pattern of plagiarism from this employee and the subsequent removal of many of his reviews. While this is certainly unacceptable behavior from a reputable journalism outlet, it's not the only reason to be critical of their reviews. IGN and similar journalism outlets, have a history of padding reviews with fluff and giving games a much higher score than they sometimes deserve.

'SpeedRunners' Review
I picked up this game fairly cheap and figured it would be worth trying. First thing I did, as usual, was to start playing the campaign. I call it that because that is what the game calls it. In truth, it is more like an extended tutorial. And not that extended...

Magic: The Gathering, as many who play the game already know, is one of the longest founded trading card games in the history of portable games, even older than the 20 years of Pokémon. 'Magical Warrior Diamond Heart' Review
People always say something or someone is a “diamond in the rough,” but what kind of image comes to mind when you hear that? Do you imagine a diamond, the kind you see in the store on rings or necklaces, stuck in a cave wall and they just need a little cleaning before being set on gold? In reality, diamonds and all gems start out as these huge hunks of rocks that you would never guess that people would want. It is only after they get cut into all those hearts and squares all shined up do the gems have any value. So, the phrase “diamond in the rough” really means the start of a gem that needs a little time and effort to really shine. One diamond in the rough I found is a visual novel called Magical Warrior Diamond Heart, but to be honest, it is already shining pretty well.

Kingdom Hearts II: An Unabashed Praise
No matter how hard I try to stay away, I always find myself coming back to Square Enix’s crossover masterpiece, Kingdom Hearts II. Ever since the initial release, something about the game had always stuck with me, and I didn’t even finish it when I got it on launch day. It was not until Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days was released on the Nintendo DS in 2009 that I found myself getting back into the series and eventually beating II when revisiting it. It was during this playthrough towards the end of 2009 that I truly felt entranced by this series, however II was the most fun I had through all of it. Because of my newfound infatuation with the series, in the subsequent years to come I had found myself saving up for the various systems the handheld games were being released on. Hundreds and hundreds of dollars and gameplay hours later, I still side with II as the absolute best in the series, in my opinion.
