The Importance of Real Stuff
I heard that reading books and buying them are two different hobbies. I do read a lot, though if I am being honest it's mostly via audiobooks and when printed, the books come from the library. You'd think then, that my money is, in regards to books, safe in my wallet or in my bank.

Pet Sites From the 2000s: Where Are They Now?
When I was growing up, the Internet was packed with safe spaces for children: simple games, educational websites and pet sites that invited you to create a digital companion. When Ice Becomes a Battlefield
For most of the world, Greenland exists as a blur on the edge of the map—vast, frozen, distant. A place of ice sheets and silence. A place you don’t think about unless you’re scrolling past climate headlines or watching a documentary late at night.

The Boy in the Rain
I didn’t go for the game. I went for my nephew. He’s twelve, wears a faded jersey two sizes too big, and talks about football like it’s scripture. “It’s not just running and tackling, Uncle,” he’d said, eyes wide. “It’s about heart. About who shows up when no one’s watching.”
