BSCC Hires Child Molester
No you did not read that title wrong. IMAGE LLC event Boston South Coast Comic Con has hired Sci-Fi Photo Guys which is owned and operated by Sexual Predator Daniel Silverman. For those of you that are unaware Sci-Fi Photo Guys provides a unique service to cosplayers. If a cosplayer wants a photo done they simply get in front of a green screen and they choose a background of their choice. While its a service not done often for conventions this doesn't excuse IMAGE LLC or the coordinators of Boston South Coast Comic Con from hiring them and choosing to keep them on thus far.

A Comprehensive Look Into the Anime Boston Lawsuit
This week has been a roller-coaster ride for those representing NEAS, IMAGE, and Fantastic Gathering Inc in court. Throughout social media I see many fans taking sides without a complete understanding of what the complaints consist of being over zealous and rather pointed in their decision to support the side they feel should win. This needs to be clear; a legal suit is not a competition of who runs a better show or is just more supportive. Both conventions have good and bad aspects, every show has its own flaws, by no means does this mean the one you think is better should win, this is a clear cut and dry issue of infringement and should not be taken so lightly.

Warner Bros. Rolled Out The Mothra Of All Fan Campaigns At Comic-Con
When Warner Bros. and Legendary announced their plans to launch a cinematic universe revolving around, you guessed it, monsters - the internet was a little stunned but willing to give it a shot, considering it would focus on Godzilla and King Kong. Both monsters have been pivotal over the years in terms of massive scale monsters - in comparison to Universal's Dark Universe of, you know, normal-sized monsters like the Mummy, the Wolfman, etc.

4 Fun Things We Learned At The 'Beauty And The Beast' Press Junket
This past weekend I was lucky enough to be flown out by Movie Pilot to attend a Beauty and the Beast screening as well as the press junket the next day. I'm happy to report that there is a lot more to the film than just being a shot-by-shot remake of the animated version, and an in-depth story that connected Belle and the Beast in a way that was so much more personal than we could have imagined.

Whose Side Is Chris Evans Personally on for 'Captain America: Civil War'?
During Salt Lake City Comic Con my brother and I were able to get tickets to the largest event of the show, Chris Evans's Q&A Panel. While we had a long wait, it was worth it when we were able to get to the front of the line and ask him the first two questions. While he explained the difference between filming Johnny and Captain America, my brother queued up to ask one of the most important questions a fan could:

Highlights from Sebastian Stan's Panel at Salt Lake City Comic Con
This weekend Salt Lake City Comic Con has been fortunate enough to garner many guests from the Captain America movies, one of which was Sebastian Stan. Luckily, I was able to get a front row seat to his panel, and he had plenty to say to his fans.

Captain America Reunion Coming to Salt Lake Comic Con
While Salt Lake City Comic Con is still a fairly new con, it is not slowing down in its growing popularity. In the past they have brought in many big names, including Stan Lee who called it "the greatest comic con in the world", many of the Doctor Who cast, and Stephen Amell from Arrow to name a few. Becoming more popular and wanting to go big, producers Dan Farr and Bryan Brandenburg have once again garnered a group of A-List celebrities with which to wow the fans of Salt Lake.

Here Are 10 Great (And Inventive) Cosplays from Long Beach Comic Con
Long Beach Comic Con has come and gone. Despite the blistering heat and subsequent rain, attendees still came ready to rock with their cosplay. Some, understandably, decided to roll with something a little bit more comfortable. Others decided to go all out in spite of the heat. Either way, a good time was had by all.

Comic Excitement 2017 Was Bad for Attendees, Worse For Vendors
Comic Excitement Convention had its debut from Saturday, January 14th, to Sunday, January 15th and I had the chance to go. This was a first-year convention, but I had high hopes given two things. The success of Nerd Bot Con last year which became my reference point for what I can expect from a first-year con and the price of admission which was $49 for both Saturday and Sunday.
