WandaVision: the SitCom of Madness
At first glance, fans of the MCU and even general viewers may be put off by the unconventional format Disney has chosen to take with their latest addition to the long-running and increasingly packed extended universe. The example I have of this is anecdotal, but I imagine it's not a unique case. Hearing my dad tell the story, not a fanboy by any stretch but a consumer of MCU content nonetheless, he managed to get through fifteen minutes before he had to turn it off. The period-sitcom style did not sit well with him.

With his wit and smart thinking he gets his wish and is hired as the driver for Ashok and his wife. Initially disappointed he finds his joy after the couple relocate to Delhi. Balram is happy and feels satisfied and creates a bond with his ‘masters’ who treat him with respect unlike others. While he believes he has achieved it all, earning fancily & doing a job none of his villagers could do, Pinky encourages him to be ambitious and reckons he can go much further in his life. Stubborn Balram continues to believe this is his destiny and serves his employers. But after that with a few unfortunate turn of events Balram realises he will no longer be a puppet in the hands of destiny and takes control of his fate. All this is showcased in the backdrop, narrated by Balram a successful entrepreneur, via his letters to the Chinese premier.

The Show Must Go On
Slowly, the audience starts to take their seats. The open-air amphitheater is perfectly positioned for me - I can see without leaving the comfort of my own home. The ringleader, Sandy, emerges from under the eaves in front of me and the audience claps. The show is about to start.

Jim Henson's The Muppet Show Debuting On Disney Plus In February - Ranking The 10 Best Muppet Characters
Kermit The Frog issued a press release yesterday announcing The Muppet Show, the beloved Jim Henson Company TV show, is coming to Disney Plus. Appearing first in 1976, The Muppet Show was such an entertainment force that its characters are still relevant 40+ years later. To test that out, try mentioning Kermit The Frog to random people; you will undoubtedly hear a few "Kermit The Frog here" impersonations or mentions of a nonchalant tea-sipping Kermit meme.

A New Age of Puppetry
Puppet shows have always been a way for people to take on different personalities, and speak more comfortably while directing attention towards the puppets and away from themselves. While there are still a number of popular shows featuring puppetry, and a few well known puppeteers, including Jeff Dunham, puppetry isn't as popular as it once was, with one exception.
