Reviewing a Pair of Villainesses from "I Know Where Lizzie Is"
I want to tell you a story, and I swear there's a point to this. I'm a big fan of the Canadian Football League because of the wild rules making the game quite nail-biting when it can be. However, there's another reason why I love the CFL: it's because, at times, I just happen to enjoy a good game, while also enjoying a villainess (or two) run wild on Lifetime. This leads to the subject of this review. While I was watching the Toronto Argonauts and the Ottawa Redblacks battle it out, I was also watching this amazing movie, I Know Where Lizzie Is.

Revan: Most Powerful Sith in “Star Wars” History?
Among them, Darth Vader, formerly known as Anakin Skywalker, stands out as a mighty Force-sensitive being. His precise lightsaber techniques and ability to predict his opponents' moves have brought him renown. Vader's prowess has allowed him to defeat skilled adversaries, such as Jedi, making him one of the most potent Sith in history.

Reviewing "Doogie Howser, M.D."
I had been familiar with the series, Doogie Howser, M.D., for nearly all of my life, but with the exception of some peeks at a few minutes of some episodes (usually the ending), I had never really watched the series. That is, until about a few weeks ago. Disney+ had the series, and I binge-watched it on the platform. I knew I liked this show in spite of what little I watched prior to the bings, but I do leave this binge very fascinated with the show as a whole.

Villainess Review: Valerie Daniels (Blue Bloods)
What can I say? Blue Bloods has such an amazing crop of villainesses. I can't really list what shows have the best batch of one-shot evil women, because I'd take forever compiling a top 10 list of shows that have the best ones. I will say this: three shows that I think have some of the best batches of villainesses have to be Castle, Republic of Doyle, and Blue Bloods. Right now, Blue Bloods is in the early stages of their final season, and as the series comes close to ending, I just can't help but think back to the amazing villainesses who appeared on the show, including this one from the episode, "Secret Arrangements."

The Exploration of Kitty Pryde's "Star-Lord" Narrative in Marvel's "Future Fight" Game
During the pandemic lockdown, I discovered various non-cosplay activities to keep my mind engaged. These included reading comics, writing, watching shows on Disney+, and playing Marvel's Future Fight, a mobile game.

Considering recent casting news surrounding the upcoming reboot of Disney's Fantastic Four film, which will be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there have been widespread rumors regarding the potential introduction of the iconic villain Doctor Doom. These rumors have sparked a wave of fan casting suggestions, with actors such as Giancarlo Esposito, Cillian Murphy, and Henry Cavill being frequently mentioned. However, a notable aspect of these suggestions is the conspicuous absence of actors of Romani descent.

Villainess Review: Angela Wright (My Husband's Baby)
For the last two and a half years, Tubi has really served up some delicious Lifetime-esque thrillers, with some deliciously fiendish and malevolent villainesses--some of whom I've mentioned on Vocal. So what does Tubi have in store for us in 2024? Well, if this film, My Husband's Baby, is any indication, I think this year may top last year when it comes to the wicked women of Tubi.

Responding to Reception for My X-Men Article
On February 16, 2024, I published an article titled "X-Men Has Always Been 'Woke'" on Vocal. It addressed the controversy surrounding the portrayal of a non-binary character in a Disney show. The article highlights the X-Men's history of storytelling that tackles social justice and human rights issues, which has been a fundamental part of its identity since the 1960s. While the article received positive feedback from Marvel fans who appreciated the exploration of these themes, there were those who insisted that Disney shouldn't tell politically driven storylines, dismissing them as "woke."
