My Day as a TV Extra on 'In Plain Sight' Starring Douglas Henshall
Well, as far as film extras gigs go some are good, some are bad and some are just like being on the front lines of war. My two and a half days as a background extra on ITV's hit 3-parter #InPlainSight was an absolute scream! I mean, I should have paid THEM afterward...Well, maybe not, but you get my drift. So what separated this one from all the others? Well you'll have to stick around for my filming breakdown.

Four TV Shows With Cliffhanger Endings And How They Were Supposed To End
Being addicted to a television show can be tough sometimes. In a world of quick and easy cancellations, we have to consider whether or not we want to invest our time in characters or a series that might be ripped away from us at a moment's notice. We usually do it anyway, then find ourselves hoping our beloved show gets one more season. Unfortunately, that doesn't always work out. Such is the case with the four shows below. In these cases at least, the showrunners have offered up what would have happened had these four wonderful programs continued beyond cancellation.

Can 'Arrow's' John Diggle Overcome The Darkness And Return As The Voice Of Reason?
When Season 4 of Arrow ended, Diggle had reenlisted in the military, and we saw him saying goodbye to his family. Fans were left to wonder how his decision would change both his character and the show. For as long as we've known him, he's been the voice of reason for Oliver. He'd been a sounding board, a confidante, and a friend. But Diggle suffered a crucible of his own this season, and though some might think it was when he was forced to kill his younger brother, Andy Diggle, I think it happened when Diggle realized his brother had betrayed him.

Five TV Shows We'd Love To See Revived
Reviving and rebooting television shows is all the rage. Gilmore Girls, Xena: The Warrior Princess, The X-Files, Prison Break, and 24 are just a few of the shows that have been or are in the process of returning to our channels in various forms. Whether it was fan outcry that brought these shows back or simply the potential to make money that set the wheels into motion, we may never know. One thing we do know is that, as fans, we have our own list of shows we'd like to see return to the airwaves. Here are the first five in a very long line of shows we've love to see revived.

'Bitten' Hasn't Lost Its Bite: Why A Smart Network Should Add This Outstanding Paranormal Drama To Its Lineup
When Bitten was cancelled in December 2015, fans weren't ready for the end, especially since this show had barely begun. With only 33 episodes aired, Bitten still has a lot of bite left. There are a vast array of stories left to be told, and this is one program that's only going to get stronger, especially if given the opportunity to evolve. And dedicated Bitten fans will follow the show to the next fortunate network that believes in second chances.

Five Day TV Challenge: Seriously, I've Never Seen an Episode.
There are honestly a ton of shows that I've never watched, mostly because I'm just not interested in them, yet others I've always wanted to watch but either never found the time or actually forced myself to.

My First Time Being a TV Extra on 'The Crown'
Trying new things and getting out of your "comfort zone" is something everyone talks about but rarely actually does. Cut back to mid-2015 and I was on the look out for something to do that would dip my toe in the film world and break my cycle of procrastination. I've been a writing and directing my own short-films since my teens and am constantly working on my feature film debut script (2017s the year baby!). However, I wanted to cut through all this and actually get onto a film set but wasn't sure how I could achieve it. It was then that I came across an advert on Facebook for "background extras" for a #perioddrama called #TheCrown filming near where I lived. After emailing my details I soon received a reply and the choice was made, I was going to be in a TV show....oh boy!

Why Jeffrey Dean Morgan Will Make the Perfect Negan on The 'Walking Dead'
Today is my birthday, and what a great present it was to wake up to the news that one of my new favorite shows, The Walking Dead, has made a casting announcement regarding one of my favorite actors. It was announced last night that Jeffrey Dean Morgan had been cast as the sociopathic character Negan, who is the feared leader of a group of survivors called the Saviors. This group of survivors offer protection from the zombie horde, but at a cost of supplies from the communities they offer to protect. Negan is fierce and unrelenting when it comes to getting his point conveyed, although at times he has also shown reasonable mercy if he believes that he can find usefulness in those that he spares.
