The Boys & Gen V Power Ranking
Every major character ranked from weakest to strongest, based only on on-screen power

The world of The Boys and Gen V isn’t about heroes rising to the occasion. It’s about power, exploitation, and what happens when violence is normalized and monetized. Some characters look intimidating but crumble instantly. Others barely appear threatening until it’s far too late. And a select few exist so far above everyone else that the rules simply don’t apply to them.
This list ranks every major character from weakest to strongest, using only what we’ve seen on screen. No comic feats. No popularity bias. No moral arguments. Just raw power, effectiveness, and how dangerous someone truly is when things turn violent.
37. Mesmer

Mesmer technically has a superpower, but it might be the least useful ability in a universe built on brutality. His psychic reading only works with physical contact, and even then it provides information, not protection.
He has no enhanced strength, no durability, and no combat awareness. His death at the hands of Butcher, who didn’t even have powers at the time, perfectly defines his place on this list. Mesmer is powerless in a world where power is everything.
36. Sister Sage

Sister Sage is the smartest person alive, capable of long-term planning and manipulation that could reshape entire systems. Her mind is her weapon, and in the right environment, that makes her incredibly dangerous.
In a direct fight, however, intelligence doesn’t translate to survival. She lacks physical enhancements and defensive abilities, meaning almost anyone above her could kill her before her plans ever mattered.
35. Frenchie

Frenchie is one of the most resourceful characters in the series. His expertise with weapons, explosives, and improvisation allows him to punch far above his weight.
Still, at the end of the day, he’s human. Against bulletproof skin, super strength, or energy blasts, preparation only goes so far. His value is tactical, not physical.
34. Mother’s Milk

Mother’s Milk is disciplined, fearless, and extremely capable in combat situations. He’s one of the toughest humans in the entire universe.
Unfortunately, toughness means little when facing beings who can tear through steel or incinerate enemies instantly. His experience keeps him alive, but not competitive.
33. Doppelganger

Doppelganger’s shapeshifting ability makes him useful for infiltration and manipulation. He can mimic anyone perfectly, which gives him access to places and people others could never reach.
Once discovered, though, he’s completely helpless. His power creates deception, not dominance, and that limits him severely.
32. Popclaw

Popclaw’s claws and enhanced strength give her real killing potential at close range. She’s capable of brutally overpowering unprepared opponents.
However, she lacks durability and control. Against more experienced or powerful supes, she wouldn’t last long.
31. Firecracker

Firecracker has ranged energy blasts, which automatically makes her more dangerous than many lower-tier supes. She can cause serious damage if she gets the first strike.
Her recklessness and lack of defensive ability hold her back. Against disciplined opponents, she’s easy to overwhelm.
30. The Deep

The Deep’s abilities shine underwater, where his strength and aquatic control make him formidable. On land, he’s painfully limited.
He remains above most humans simply by being a supe, but his situational usefulness keeps him low on the list.
29. Blue Hawk

Blue Hawk possesses enhanced strength and durability, making him dangerous in close combat.
What he lacks is versatility. Without range, speed, or advanced defenses, higher-tier supes completely outclass him.
28. Gunpowder

Gunpowder’s enhanced reflexes and marksmanship make him lethal under the right conditions.
Unfortunately, firearms don’t mean much against invulnerable enemies. His effectiveness drops sharply against true powerhouses.
27. Hughie Campbell

With Temp V, Hughie’s teleportation and enhanced strength made him a legitimate threat. His ability to reposition instantly is extremely dangerous.
Without it, he’s completely vulnerable. Still, surviving battles with top-tier supes earns him respect.
26. Tek Knight

Tek Knight combines intelligence, preparation, and advanced armor to create a dangerous combatant.
He lacks natural superhuman strength, but his technology allows him to compete above his weight class.
25. Emma Meyer (Little Cricket)

Emma’s size-shifting ability is one of the most creative powers introduced in Gen V. She can shrink to near microscopic levels or grow large enough to overpower normal opponents, giving her strong versatility in unpredictable situations.
What holds Emma back is durability. No matter her size, she doesn’t gain the kind of resilience needed to survive prolonged fights against stronger supes. Against top-tier opponents, one clean hit would likely end the fight, which keeps her firmly in the lower half of the list.
24. Lamplighter

Lamplighter’s fire manipulation is extremely destructive and difficult to counter. He can incinerate enemies quickly and cause massive collateral damage, which is why he earned a place in The Seven.
However, his lack of emotional stability and limited endurance prevent him from sustaining long battles. Against disciplined or physically superior supes, he burns bright but fades fast.
23. Translucent

Translucent’s invisibility combined with nearly indestructible skin makes him one of the hardest supes to neutralize. Surprise attacks and ambushes are where he’s most effective.
His weakness lies in offense. He lacks the raw strength or destructive power to quickly end fights against higher-tier enemies, which caps his overall threat level.
22. Kenji Miyashiro

Kenji possessed immense telekinetic power, strong enough to restrain Homelander briefly, which alone places him above many other supes.
Unfortunately, his lack of refined control and combat discipline made his power inconsistent. In the hands of a more experienced user, his abilities could have ranked much higher.
21. Starlight

Starlight has steadily evolved into a legitimate powerhouse. Her light-based blasts pack serious force, and her durability has proven stronger than expected time and time again.
When fully charged, she’s capable of massive damage, but she still struggles against the most elite supes who possess overwhelming physical strength or speed.
20. Crimson Countess

Crimson Countess is one of the most offensively dangerous supes shown in the series. Her energy blasts can melt metal, disintegrate targets, and wipe out enemies almost instantly.
The downside is her fragility. Once an opponent closes the distance, she has little defense, making her vulnerable in drawn-out encounters.
19. Cate Dunlap

Cate’s mind control ability is one of the most terrifying powers introduced in Gen V. With physical contact, she can completely dominate another person’s actions, making even powerful supes helpless.
Her limitations are physical and psychological. Without protection, she’s extremely vulnerable, and her emotional instability prevents her from consistently using her power to its full potential.
18. Andre Anderson

Andre’s magnetism allows him to control metal with deadly precision, making him especially dangerous against armored opponents or anyone relying on weapons.
Despite his impressive power, his ongoing health issues limit how long he can fight at full strength, preventing him from reaching higher tiers.
17. Jordan Li

Jordan’s dual forms give them one of the most balanced power sets in the universe. One form provides enhanced strength and durability, while the other delivers powerful ranged attacks.
This adaptability allows Jordan to adjust to nearly any opponent, making them consistently dangerous even against stronger enemies.
16. Kimiko

Kimiko is one of the most relentless fighters in the entire series. Her regeneration allows her to recover from injuries that would kill most supes, and her ferocity in close combat is unmatched.
She may lack ranged abilities, but once Kimiko gets close, very few opponents are capable of stopping her.
15. Cindy

Cindy is pure chaos. Her telekinetic power is raw, violent, and overwhelming, allowing her to crush enemies effortlessly.
The only thing holding her back is unpredictability. With more control or discipline, she could easily climb several spots higher.
14. Black Noir II

Black Noir II carries on the legacy of Vought’s silent enforcer. He possesses enhanced strength, combat skill, and ruthless efficiency.
While slightly less durable than the original Black Noir, he remains one of the most dangerous hand-to-hand fighters alive.
13. Sam Riordan

Sam is an engine of destruction. His raw strength and durability surpass almost everyone else from Godolkin, allowing him to overpower enemies with ease.
Untrained and mentally unstable, Sam is still terrifying simply because of how hard he hits and how much punishment he can take.
12. Golden Boy

Golden Boy was positioned as Godolkin’s crown jewel for a reason. His strength, heat generation, and durability place him close to elite territory.
His downfall was emotional instability. With better control, he might have cracked the top ten.
11. Polarity

Polarity combines experience with refined control over magnetic forces. Unlike Andre, his mastery allows him to use his power with precision and restraint.
That control makes him one of the most composed and dangerous supes introduced in Gen V.
10. A-Train

Speed is one of the deadliest abilities in existence, and A-Train proves why. At full health, he can kill most opponents before they even realize what’s happening.
His physical decline temporarily lowered his threat level, but when operating at peak condition, he’s still a nightmare.
9. Black Noir (Original)

The original Black Noir was Vought’s ultimate assassin. Silent, relentless, and nearly indestructible, he carried out missions that no one else could survive.
His combination of durability, stealth, and brutality made him one of the most feared supes in the world.
8. Billy Butcher

With Temp V, Butcher transforms into a top-tier threat capable of trading blows with the strongest supes alive.
The only thing holding him back is time. His powers are temporary, and without them, he drops significantly.
7. Victoria Neuman

Victoria Neuman’s head-popping ability is one of the most horrifying powers in the universe. She can kill almost anyone instantly without revealing herself.
Her limitations are situational, but in the right position, she’s nearly untouchable.
6. Queen Maeve

Queen Maeve is one of the most complete supes ever created. Her strength, durability, and combat skill place her firmly among the elite.
She’s also one of the few characters who has fought Homelander directly and lived to tell the story.
5. Stormfront

Stormfront’s combination of flight, lightning manipulation, strength, and endurance makes her overwhelmingly powerful.
It took multiple supes working together just to bring her down, proving how dangerous she truly was.
4. Soldier Boy

Soldier Boy represents Vought’s first generation of supes at their most extreme. His strength rivals Homelander’s, and his durability borders on indestructible.
His radiation blasts, which can erase powers entirely, make him one of the most dangerous beings ever created.
3. Thomas Godolkin

Thomas Godolkin is one of the most mentally powerful supes ever introduced. His psychic control allows him to manipulate and dominate others without lifting a finger.
In terms of influence and sheer mental dominance, very few characters come close.
2. Marie Moreau

Marie Moreau is the breakout star of Gen V for a reason. Her blood manipulation allows her to detonate, control, and weaponize blood in horrifying ways.
She’s creative, resilient, and still growing stronger. Her potential may eventually surpass Homelander himself.
1. Homelander

Homelander remains the undisputed apex predator of this universe. His strength, flight, durability, and laser vision place him above every other supe.
More terrifying than his power is his complete lack of restraint. Until someone proves otherwise, Homelander is still number one.
