Story - 1: It was a moonless night. Enough light was there to show the way but not enough to guide the way. I and my friends were out for a night walk and we had no idea that our ways would cross with something so horrifying. We were laughing, talking and making fun of each other when we heard a noise. It sounded like someone was crying. We thought it was one of us who was crying so we stopped and asked but no one answered. Then we thought that it must be an animal so we started to move again but the noise followed us. We became scared and we ran but it felt like the thing was running after us. We reached a small hill from where we could see our whole village. There were houses and streets and people but no sign of the thing that was following us. We were about to go back when we saw it. It was a figure, all black, no face and it was running towards us. We screamed and ran in different directions. I don't know what happened to my friends but I ran towards my house. I don't know how but I reached my house and I went inside and locked the door. I was shaking with fear and I couldn't stop crying. I don't know how long I sat there but I must have dozed off because the next thing I remember is my mother coming into the room and asking me what was wrong. I told her everything that had happened and she said that it was just a nightmare. I didn't believe her then but I do now. It was just a nightmare but it felt so real that I can still remember it clearly. I don't know what that thing was but I know that it wasn't anything human.

Gum Shoe Blues I'd been working at this thrift store for about a week before I stumbled across the box. I say working, but it's more like volunteering. I'll save you the gory details, but needless to say that I screwed up after a night of drinking and ran into a bus stop with my car. Thankfully it was three am. Playing with dolls
I like to think that I’m your average 26-year-old male, I like the ladies, video games, sports and so on. I’m just a little different. I like to play with dolls. You know what I mean, don’t kid yourself. I like to make them date, go out, have a normal life just like us. Make them into real people, if you know what I mean. Pose them the way I want, make them do whatever I want. We all have our own god complex; this is the way I handle mine. Now don’t misunderstand what I’m saying, I’m not crazy or a homo or anything like that. It’s just that I have my own way of dealing with life and its downfalls. From telling creepy tales around the campfire to writing frightening fiction about ghosts and haunted houses, there are many people who find this sort of thing very scary. However, these stories are often so unbelievable that you have to wonder if anybody would actually believe them. While these stories may seem absurdly ridiculous and impossible, there is a reason why they’ve persisted for so long. Humans have been telling ghost stories probably since the invention of speech. There are good reasons why they have stuck around for so long – because they are based in truth. Although the details may be more embellished than we can imagine, there is truth behind every one of these ghost stories. So let’s take a look at some of the most famous ghost stories and see what’s behind them... The Montague Mansion: The Montague Mansion is one of the most famous haunted places in America. It is also one of the most famous ghost stories in America. The story goes that around 100 years ago, the son of the owner of the house murdered his wife in a fit of rage. Since the murder, people who have stayed in that house have reported hearing screaming and crying, as well as seeing blood on the walls. The truth behind this ghost story is that the bloodstains were there when the house was purchased in the early 1900s. However, the story behind them is not as simple as a murder. The house was owned by a couple who had three children, two boys and one girl. When the girl was around 9 years old, she showed signs of a serious illness. Doctors couldn’t figure out what was wrong with her, but they could tell that she was suffering from both physical pain and some sort of mental anguish. Eventually, her parents decided to put her into a mental institution. The Suicide Bridge: According to legend, the Suicide Bridge in Scotland is haunted by the ghosts of those who committed suicide by jumping off the bridge. In fact, it is said that if you walk across the bridge carrying a pair of scissors, the bridge will open up and swallow you whole. There is a very real reason why there are so many stories of ghosts near this bridge. In the early 1900s, the bridge was actually a very busy place. The bridge was where people would throw the bodies of loved ones who committed suicide into the water below. This practice was so common that it became known as “scuttling the bridge.” However, the bridge has since become a place where those who contemplate suicide go to get help. There is still a large network of support for people who suffer from depression, and these organizations often use the bridge as a place for people to go for help. The Woman in White: The Woman in White is one of the most famous ghost stories in Britain. The story goes that once you have seen the Woman in White, you will never be able to escape her. The woman is said to be the ghost of a woman who was left to die in a house fire. The story says that the woman’s husband started the fire in order to collect on her life insurance policy. The truth behind this ghost story is much more tragic. The Woman in White was a real woman who actually did die in a fire. However, she was not murdered by her husband. She was actually a single mother who was trying to make a living as a seamstress. She rented a room in a boarding house, and one night a fire broke out in the house. The woman was trapped on the third floor, and she died there. The Hookman: The Hookman is one of the most famous ghost stories in New York City. The story goes that a man would go around the city and approach people with an iron hook for a hand. He would then ask his victim a question and if they answered it wrong, he would kill them with the hook. The truth behind this ghost story is that it was probably connected to a series of murders in New York City in the 1970s. A man named David Berkowitz was nicknamed “the Son of Sam” and was known as the “Hookman” because he used a pair of old scissors to kill people. Berkowitz was later arrested, tried, and sentenced to five life sentences in prison. The Old Asylum for the Insane: The Old Asylum for the Insane is a very old and scary looking building in New York City. The building was originally built as an asylum for the insane and operated in this capacity for many years. However, in 1913, the building was shut down and abandoned. People who have explored the building have reported strange noises and feelings of being watched. There are many ghost stories connected to this building. There is even a famous horror movie about the place. The truth behind this ghost story is surprisingly simple. The building was actually shut down because it was incredibly unsanitary. The patients were living in squalor, and the terrible conditions were bound to lead to infection. The building was torn down long ago and replaced with a much smaller building that still operates today. Bottom line: This brings us to the end of our article. We’ve seen that there is some truth behind every scary story. In fact, there have probably been people embellishing the facts behind these stories since long before they were written down. So the next time you hear a scary story, remember that it’s probably not as far-fetched as it seems.

The film is about a conversion camp for queer youth run by the charismatic Owen Whistler (Kevin Bacon) where we follow a group of new arrivals, particularly a nonbinary teen named Jordan (Theo Germaine). I don’t want to say anymore about the plot, but needless to say, they don’t exactly try to make queer conversion therapy look good (which it isn’t).
