The American system is broken, badly. Our checks and balances have been hijacked by a madman serial rapist pedophile. Let that part sink in. Then look at his business records. It’s damn near impossible to bankrupt a casino, but he’s done it more than once. Trump Steaks (🤮), Trump Vodka (😵‍💫), and Trump University (🪦) were all blistering successes, amiright?

This certified misogynist (see “Grab ‘em by the pussy), fraudster, and idiot (tariffs are a good idea?!?) is who an alarming percentage of my compatriots find fit to lead this nation once known as the Great American Melting Pot.

I show this video every Tuesday in my Humanities class. My students grew up with the Cartoon Network instead of Saturday morning cartoons, and it shows in their education that they are severely Schoolhouse Rock deficient. It shows in grammar, history, and civics (fuck you, Ronald Reagan). Constitution Day is when this is most evident, and the ignorance concerning American government is astounding. It truly explains how this happened.

ICE is offering $100K salaries with exorbitant sign-on bonuses, but teachers can’t be paid a living wage. It’s a war on public education, and they’re already filtering money into private schools for poor, white conservatives who can’t afford to live in the gerrymandered districts that have predominantly white students.

When I was an undergraduate student, three major grammatical errors failed an essay. Essays were written in class, closed book, and we were expected to quote the text in our answers to the questions. Now, grammar is only 15% of the grade. Apparently, formatting is the most important thing in composition now, eclipsing content (see empty policy training). Critical thinking is being eradicated before our eyes. Our Senate runs on logical fallacies, and our House’s driving motivation is fear of exposure of the depravity of the members.

This disadministration that murders its citizens in the street thrives on hatred, brutality, violence, and oppression. I’ve frequently heard it referred to as a moral slum, but I think that’s derogatory toward slums. It’s more of a moral cesspool using the Constitution as toilet paper.

The G(estap)OP is actually suggesting that a national political party (theirs) should seize control of elections from the states, that ICE should be present at polling places to intimidate and suppress the vote. Remember when thugpublicans were all about states’ rights? Apparently, that’s just red states, just like the 2nd Amendment is only for white rednecks (based on the statements from our federal government). Anyone who can’t see the desperate death throes of this collection of lawmakers who are more compromised than Missouri ever thought about being is willfully blind. When The Atlantic calls it fascism, you can rest assured that it is indeed fascism, even without the list of the ten steps in front of you. I challenge you to aspire to the fact-checking level their editors demand.

If you think a system that exploits victims while protecting the wealthy people who victimized them is a functioning society, you’re in the cult, suffering from the delusion that being in the cult puts you in the club. It doesn’t. You’re not in the club until someone shows you your folder, the contents of which will make you shrivel in shame (ask Lindsey Graham). If you have nothing to hide, you’re missing the prerequisites for application for membership. Only those who can be controlled are welcome, and dues are exorbitant.
