Medical Marijuana in Crucial in Treatment of Terminally Ill Patients
Terminal illness is hard to endure for patients, caregivers, family, and friends. The goal when providing end-of-life care is to make the patient comfortable, decrease pain, and improve emotional health to create a positive experience for the remainder of their time. There are many conventional methods used in terminally ill patients that can create barriers in reaching this goal.

The Invention that Killed Humanity before Saving it.
In 1919, Fritz Haber discovered a simple chemical reaction which was later considered as one of the most important discoveries of the century. It was combining nitrogen and hydrogen molecules to form ammonia. The discovery of ammonia and providing an industrial source had delayed Germany losing the First World War by more than two years. At the end of the nineteenth century, Germany was running out of Chilean nitrates used for the production of explosives. The situation had worsened by the raw materials supply cut by allies, blocking the South American ports. Huge deposits of nitrites were transported from Chile in South America. The Germans were badly in need of an alternative for nitrogen compounds for the manufacture of explosives. The discovery of the Haber process facilitated Germans to use ammonia for the supply of nitrogen compounds for the manufacture of explosives in the First World War. So indirectly, the invention of Haber’s process is responsible for millions of life who were killed in the First World War.

DNA Determinism Continues to Dominate Public Discourse
Philosophy of DNA Determinism It is almost hard to believe how conditioned we have become to accept the philosophy of DNA determinism (and it is a philosophy, it is not a science, though it is supposedly based on science). The surprise and shock that is expressed at what should be a common sense and more than obvious conclusion (environmental factors are just as, or more important, then gene sequence in complex disease outcome) is astounding. I have written about this issue on occasion before but the topic deserves a wider audience.

It Has Begun
Fourteen-year old Heart stormed into the manor estate. Without noticing his basketball falling from his arms. He rushed to the giant living room where his grandfather lay in a hospital bed connected to tubes, wires and machines. The only thing that made him look remotely desirable was the heirloom, heart-shaped locket that hung from his wrinkled neck. His grandmother, already noticing Heart’s frustration, held her hand up as to stop her grandson in his tracks. Heart’s sprint turned into slow, paced steps until he met his grandmother and sat near her on the loveseat.

“You’re Just an Anthropologist”
I’m a generalist, when it comes to learning. But I do list my anthropology background in many cases, in part because anthropology is such a broad field of study. Unfortunately in many discussions, a background in anthropology is considered meaningless.
