Mally and the Media JUNKIEZ A

Comic strip

By Revista Miko:XCI Published about 4 hours ago 3 min read

I always wanted to a comic strip and get it published and I did that with Mally and Media Junkiez

This was inspired by the time when I was a vegetarian my uncle and I ordered a pizza with eggplant and I thought it was meat and began taking off the eggplant and my uncle says that’s not meat

i’ve had a lot of well I’ve read comic strips and comic books and stuff. series have had comic books associated with the series and even with children had a comic book associated with it too.

This panel is about two friends who make it through life and it is also a commentary on modern society through the eyes of goth and Metal kids who hang out at the mall.

You know, I could be a media junkie myself I mean, given the fact that hang out at the mall and create but you see an extension of I guess you could say I was Molly the original media . Me it’s like I walk around the mall my favorite joints hot topic and you know these are just thoughts that went through my head and stuff you know, but I walked alone whereas all the media junkies walk with one another and stuff you know. The one that’s standing right outside the movie theater the nihilistic point of you that’s me man or at least that was me. I don’t know, but anyway, I guess you could say that the media junkies are a perfect reflection if you will also that’s all I say thanks for reading I’ll catch you at the next one bye

My mind has a perfect avenue doing this comic strip because this twisted comic strip is a product of my mind.

Doing art, writing books, doing this, strip is very therapeutic to me. It’s escapism and I guess what I need in my life is escapism. Everybody needs escapism. I just happen to actually need a doctors orders. After everything I do artistically I was come back feeling better than I did before. I went to that little world that I created for myself where I created all of this.

You as much as these people in this comic strip each other as they do in the comic they are a family first they were friends now then they became family and something else that brings them all together that if you talk shit about Ozzie or Sabbath, the series these people won’t have it and that’s what that’s another thing that brings them all together as one.

In this panel the kids discuss Emos and cutters and posers. With them nothing is off limits . And choose Molly and the media junkies is a extension of my mind and my inner way I see the world and quite frankly I mean the common strip does come from my mind after all so sorry about that. Just kidding.

Some of my biggest influences on me as a comic creator is Garfield yes Garfield I’ve always loved that little kitty cat by Jim Davis, another one that I’ve always loved is the boondocks by Aaron MacGruder. And also, I just happen to think anime is one of the coolest genres in animation I’ve ever seen.

and the media junkies began. I started doing a comic trip when I was in high school and then it was relevant things in the world politics and It was just about anything that was happening in the world at that time. None of it Stood the test of time so what I did threw the whole first incarnation of media junkies away and after I decided to redo it and with this comic strip is the second incarnation of they hang out at the mall where a bunch of it takes place and what not.
