I Started a Business and It Was Surprisingly Easy
I think almost everyone dreams of doing something big with themselves or by themselves (to a degree) as they grow up. "I'm going to open my own gym." "I want to run my own restaurant." "I'm going to become a dental floss tycoon." You know, the usual hopeful successes. What I've felt is that most everyone uses it as a mental escape from their current situation. In my own analytics (from nowhere except the randomization of my thought process), about 70% of these are pipe dreams. People want it, but they don't really plan on going for it. So what's interesting is that I never once in my life thought to myself, "I'm going to partner up with someone and start a Motorsports Marketing business." Yet it happened.

How Did I Get Here?
How did I get here? A woman of 27, a mum to three beautiful children and partner to one adoring man. The same time every year there is an urge for change bubbling away in the depths of my soul, something needing to be tweaked at, changed, even. Never feeling satisfied with just how far I have come on this journey called life. Living my life, always chasing after my next move; could this be the next big thing for me? Could this be the one that makes me successful? I'm like a donkey chasing a carrot that's being held in front of its face on a string.

Finding My Niche In The Business World
Like many others, I had finished school as a two time graduate. I made my mother proud but after College I really was lost!! I got a job working at a hospital as security in the Emergency and Trauma unit, along with studying for my Corrections Exam and working as a Bartender, Server and Manager at a restaurant. I know what you're thinking... how did I manage all that. Truth is i'm not quite sure myself, I just did it. I worked day shifts at the restaurant, took a nap went to the hospital from 7pm to 7am and studied on my breaks. My days off weren't really days off because that was when I found time to go to the gym, study and pick up extra side gig jobs. I was a MESS!!

Stick with What Works
When I was a child in the 1980's I loved some things more than others: Garbage Pail Kids (this one was my favorite...) Don't you dare make fun of me! The Dallas Cowboys. Danny White was the man! Pee Wee's Playhouse on Saturday mornings. Weird Al U2 (Bono is awesome)

Why Should Employers Encourage Volunteerism from Their Employees?
Supporting the community is great and all, but whats in it for me as a company? What's in it for me as an employer to make time for employees to volunteer during their shifts? We have quotas/metrics/time commitments to meet and customers to support. We come to work and do our job, isn't that enough?

Why is Amway Global a Legitimate Business?
Amway Global is a 50+year-old company and has created billions of dollars in revenue. Rich Devos and Jay Van Andel had the vision to be successful and have made millions of people financially independent. Many people, though, have their own views and are very negative of the opportunity. Many people have claimed it to be a chain business, pyramid scheme, or just a sales business. I have worked with people who are in Amway and attended business conferences which have told me otherwise. In this article, I'm going to discuss why this is a legitimate business and those who talk nonsense about it don't know anything about the business opportunity.

Five LinkedIn Tips for Entrepreneurs
Reach and exposure are key factors for any entrepreneur looking to scale their business or their brand and social media has become the defacto way to go about it. While Facebook, Instagram and Twitter are all viable and acceptable channels for this growth, a lot of people overlook LinkedIn. I meet a lot of entrepreneurs who overlook the value that LinkedIn can bring to their business and their brand.
