Why I Want to Become a Nurse
I think it's safe to say that anyone who is interested in becoming a nurse can all agree on the same reasons as to why they feel lead to go to school for this profession. Maybe a friend, or someone in your family, with a medical condition that motivated you to pursue medicine, so you could make a difference in the lives of those who made deal with the same condition. Maybe you see it as a way to make good money! Or your parents wanted you to pursue it because of the good income and long-term benefits. Or maybe you're drawn to this field because of the action, the adrenaline, or the fact that medicine simply just excites you! Better yet, maybe you're just born with it! Maybe you're just born with the natural desire to help people! something a lot of humans lack in life. A selfless character willing to train and study hard to change people's lives..... To give them HOPE. And there's nothing wrong with that. There is nothing wrong with any of the reasons I just mentioned. Those reasons are what make you the kind of nurse you are today... or will become!

Life as a Ballet Dancer
It’s always really awkward at family parties when that one aunt, who isn’t really your aunt, but you call your aunt just out of convenience, asks you what school you’ve decided on or what major you’ve chosen, and you have to tell her you haven’t done either. Instead, you’ve pursued your passion she thought you’d grow out of and now have a full-time job as a ballet dancer—something you’ve exhaustively trained and sacrificed much for. Yet, the most awkward part is when she responds with, “But what’s your actual job?”

Inside the Mind of a Writer
As of now, I'm a 29-year-old writer. What do I write? How do I get there? Well, that's a good question. Sometimes, I don't know either. The only thing I do know is that I have spent years writing, either online, or on MS Word. If you do write, I'm sure there are mediums that you use. I use the medium Wattpad. Bottom line is: I enjoy it. I find that I can empty my mind the more I pour into a page. However, my mind continuously fills up, which is why, no matter what stage of a novel my previous work is at, I always start a new one. That may sound inefficient, but I at least like to have a direction, then forget what I wanted to write completely.

You Model? Really?
I am a model. I have been doing it since 2012 but that is not what I tell people. I don't tell people I am a model. Why do you think that is? Is it because I don't want to be judged? Is it because I am scared of what people say? The reason is none of those things. It is because once I tell people I am a model questions fly in their heads. I am then labeled as that model girl. The questions tend to be all the same. How are you a model your not that tall? How are you a model you have tattoos? How are you a model they are thin? How are you a model you have flaws? I get instantly observed and looked at. Yes, I am short and yes I have things a typical model doesn't and why is that? That is because the "normal model" are all skinny, tall, exotic, long legs, and interesting. That is the type of model society makes us think about. Not models like me.

My Life in Vape
My Professional Life and Where I Want It To Go I don't have a formal education. I never had the patience to make it all the way through college and that is a bit of a sore spot for me at my age. My sister, mother and father all have various degrees, yet my highest completed educational goal was high school. I am 34 years old and I finally found an industry that I want to be in and work for, being the vape industry.

Why I'll Never Work in a Restaurant Again
Before I start this, I want to put out a full disclosure. I am by no means trying to upset or insult anyone who works in the restaurant industry. I know plenty of close friends who absolutely love their job and have turned it into a passionate career. This is merely an opinion that should be taken with a grain of salt. For me, working at a restaurant was not a career path to follow. My views are being shared for another perspective, one that rarely gets spoken about. While a lot of people enjoy this job, I also know people who have hated it as well as some who are unaware of the struggles jobs like this have.

"One day I'm going to become an author." That's what I used to tell everyone when I was going through the fourth grade. The big plan. Well, write a bunch of really cool books and be the next J. K. Rowling or Anne Rice or something. This dream stuck with me all my years, and as time passed it became every more desirable.
