I think we have to often take a step back and realize the choices we make in society, there’s a lot of confusion which has been larger than it’s ever been in recent time. due to the age of information we find ourselves looking and trying to find the answers to the larger questions but often does it lead us to other more complex questions. Right now, we’re caught in a state of fear dealing with this pandemic we all have forgotten what it means to be resilient. Whenever we look at the media, we see civil unrest going on around the world due to our governments not taking the proper precautions to ensure people are getting the right resources to families, numbers of the COVID-19 cases either being exaggerated or not properly being informed by the people we’ve put our lives on the line for. But there’s hope, there’s an opportunity for us to take our lives into our own hand and take the opportunity to learn and navigate through all this mess.
When you think about what makes people mostly afraid it’s not being able to have that security in knowing they’ll have sheltered every month or food to eat during the lock down, which can drop our sense of consciousness into the fight or flight mode. Many of us who have lived pretty privileged without the care because we’ve had the money or put the time into ourselves in our smaller family groups are now realizing this. But how we decide to view this situation is dependent on how we treat others in our communities from now on. Often through situations of mass confusion we have the opportunity to view what’s going on psychologically and peer into what has been called the human condition. Why do we choose to act out of fear majority of the time? Is this something our ancestors have taught us which in order to survive. Why isn’t there a larger majority in the other direction of compassion? Psychologist would probably lead you to research more about Ivan Pavlov studies and his theories of behavioral Psychology, which states that our behaviors are or often attached to the world we grow up in. For instance, family grows up on a farm, has never seen any large commercial machines, besides tractors and cars that they’re using to travel across a few across to their home. Until one day they’re met by some people who say there’s a potential to grow the size of the crops and double the number of animals and in the process, they will be able to receive money but all he has to do is give up a percentage of crops so these people can implement their plans. Now before I continue, we have to think about the emotional weight of this scenario. Must we choice to give up own ability and freedoms at the price of losing ground on what’s presented before us?
Have we become the farmer who wants to expand but have lost our sense of ethics because it generates more money? How we’ve dealt with the pandemic has been in regards to take care of our families and make more resources but what are other options we could have missed before this pandemic even stated? Most people are beginning to realize there’s a whole world of alternate choices that will improve our well being gear towards a more holistic fashion. However, it’s there’s potential to give us a brighter future without some of the potential side affects provided by the pharmaceutical corporation. No this doesn’t mean we have to make people lose their jobs but we need to gear funding in a more holistic manner which aims to cure rather than temporary alleviate symptoms. We need to seek out our health whether that be mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually before it continues any further.
The family has the choice to keep what they’ve done untainted knowing it might take reaching others who are like minded and deny all previous interactions to keep future integrity. Why does it take so long for us to see the importance of care, we often teach our children we shouldn’t make fun of others, be rude, be respectful and how we interact is very important? We cannot forget what we’ve tried to make this into society because we are impacted as adults because it’s a way of life. There can be a time form morning for all that were lost, but we cannot allow this message to be in vain, our perspective needs reflection before any sort of change.
Warmest regards,
