I strive to always push myself, when, and only when the moment calls for it. Other than that, I tend to be a little bit lazy. It’s a natural art form that I strive for. I never asked to be lazy I just knew it worked for me. I bet you are wondering why does being lazy help with spring cleaning? One, your able to not hold any expectations too risky to stress your current mental health. Two, Spring time is all about renewal or rebirth. Why go through such trouble to clean and change things you have already made yourself comfortable with through fall and winter? It’s better to leave well enough alone. Take it from me. I am writing this passage for you and I only plan on doing the bare minimum of 600 words because over exerting myself for a competition feels like more work than I am willing to do. Plus, I don’t want to stress you (the reader) to have to endure any long passage because I too want you to be lazy with me.
Lazy time is fun time am I right? Who said being productive is fun? Being lazy is the way to happiness. Renew yourself and become lazier. Let the dishes pile up, never finish that book you just bought, make your bed then jump in it to take a nap! Sounds like a perfect day to me. Sound like a perfect spring day to be exact. Who said we need to clean after the winter weather is over?
You mean to tell me that you cleaned your whole house and changed all of your comfortable ways for a season? That, to me, sounds crazy. I clean my room and change my life when it feels right and/ or necessary. You may be thinking to yourself that I am a disgusting woman who lives in filth? Wrong! I make my bed every morning, sometimes. I clean the dishes, often enough. I buy new linen, when it’s on sale. But none of my convictions come from the fact that its spring time. Spring yourself into the new wave of living and that’s being lazy.
Your mother will be proud of you for finally doing what is best for the economy. Which has nothing to do with what we are talking about but one day she will be happy for those reasons. I am proud of you because you’re living my way, the right way, the lazy way. Throw away those magazines that say “How to Improve Your Home for Spring,” and take a note from my passage. Your life will be better off if you gave into not giving a damn about this “spring-cleaning” that society projects as the way to live.
You must be tired reading this already which is a good sign you’re giving into the lazy spectrum. I’m telling you this, anything you want to do to improve your life won’t come from me or from anything you research. You already know what to do to improve your mental strain that comes from the depressing winter. Ice coffee! That’s right, ice coffee makes everyone happier. You don’t like coffee; I honestly don’t know what to suggest then. Maybe read that book you just bought or make your bed, possibly start a new hobby. Enter writing competitions like me and expect to win nothing because that is the true meaning to spring cleaning. Or is spring cleaning the expectations that all your problems go away because you clean your house from top to bottom? I must have forgotten already. Oh well.
