Kiki the Kitty Boy
It was just a normal day. It was a Friday, I believe. My oldest daughter was spending the night at Grandma's and the youngest was still taking her nap. My boyfriend of nine years had told me over and over for nine years that we couldn't have a cat because he was severely allergic. I had my suspicions about this claim, as he frequently visited homes with cats and didn't have REALLY bad reactions.

This is an essentials list for anyone who is seeing a dog in their future. Preparation is key! As spontaneous and fun as it would be to come home with a dog that was unplanned, this will only create complications! To insure you are setting you and your new buddy up for success, be sure to do your research and get supplies so you can focus on bonding and training instead of trying to run to the store to pick up every item you forgot last minute! Cutest Cat Breeds
I love cats. Cats are my version of babies. They are adorable, fluffy, and I'm basically obsessed with them because they are so incredibly cute. All cats have a special place in my heart, primarily because the cute factor makes my heart melt whenever I see them.

Now, are all dogs the best pets? Yes. In my opinion, a human's personality can be matched to one of the hundreds of breeds of dogs that are out there. But what makes them such good pets?

Why, On an Abstract Level, I’m Against Pets
People like to criticize PETA, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, because of how many animals they euthanize. These armchair critics would have us believe that PETA euthanizes them because they don’t care about animals.

The Loss of a Pet
Penny was her name and she was the sweetest puppy that you could ever meet. A mini dapple dachshund, a gorgeous spotted puppy that even had spots inside her eyes. We brought her home from the breeder and it was love at first sight, especially for my 11-year-old. They bonded instantly and what was originally my dog quickly became hers. They spent time together, they slept together, and she was the first thing my daughter grabbed when she woke up in the morning. I would find the two of them watching cartoons cuddled up on the couch. It was truly a sight to see.

Omar's Diary 22nd September 2017
My goodness. How time has passed by since I introduced myself nearly a month ago. Man Servant, without any consultation with myself, has now acquired a new car which is now parked outside Omar Towers. It is not ‘new’ in the sense of coming straight from the factory but ‘new’ to him and he is very proud of it. From what I can see from my vantage point on the drawing room windowsill, it is a red cabriolet model of foreign design. As our end-of-summer weather has been so mild lately, he has been able to enjoy the full experience of driving with the roof down. I am not so sure that Lady Servant shares his enthusiasm for this style of motoring. Why, even this evening as they were both going out to get some Kibble for us felines, I distinctly heard Lady Servant tell him she was not going out unless the roof was up. From his point of view, it was a dry and sunny evening. From her point of view, it was getting dark and chilly. Her expression of disfavor won the argument, and they drove off with the roof up.

A Pet's Life
Being a cat owner since I was born, I was brought up living with a variety of different breeds of cats. Although learning to love dogs, there is something special about having a companion. Even for younger kids, their companions could be anything, but learning to love a living animal could help them in later life.
