dog
It's no coincidence that a dog is a man's best friend; they're more faithful than most other animals, and more faithful than many people.
Making your home puppy proof
1.Puppy-proofing Your Home It’s impossible to provide constant supervision for your energetic, curious pup, so it’s important to prepare your home before letting him loose in it. Secure electrical cords and move potentially toxic plants or substances, such as cleaning supplies and insecticides, out of reach. It’s a good idea to crawl through your home to get a puppy’s-eye view of his surroundings. Remove anything he might be tempted to chew or swallow, and close off vents, pet doors or any other openings that might allow him to become lost or stuck. Not only will this help keep him safe, it will also ease your anxiety that your new pup is lost.

The Redemption of an Abused Dog
Today was a good day, I got food this morning and they left the gate open for me to go and see the others that I talk to through the fence! Upon the thing with four circular objects that moves the box around leaving with them in it I run for the open gate. But out of nowhere I am yanked back with such a force that I began to cough. Once my throat stopped throbbing and the pain lessened I looked to see who pulled me back, but no one stood there instead I saw a line that went to something in the ground by my food dish. The line followed me as I walked around, what was this? I start to chew on it, maybe it’s a toy? Eventually the line broke and I wasn’t trapped! I run straight forward through the gate and follow the smell of my friends. Tracking them was easy, it was finding a way around their fence that kept them trapped. I began to call out to them.

Cocoa girl
In 2013, I moved my family to Chester, PA. I was aware of its reputation but I had seven people with whom I am responsible for housing and basic needs. We had been living under my mom's roof since late 2010 and I had just started on my road to sobriety after a decade of decadence, or so to speak. I was attending group, got some work and things were really good for a while. Eventually life brought my mother and I to a falling out and she evicted me from her house. There was a lot of personal stuff going on that isn't even worth remembering but the point is that I had to find living accommodations for my family of seven.

Saying goodbye
I don't think anyone is ever ready to say goodbye to their precious four legged best friend. I know I surely wasn't ready. But in September of 2019, I had to do this very thing. I had found her online, someone was moving out of state and couldn't take her. Her name was Jade. I fell in love with her the moment I seen her online picture. I knew she was exactly what me and my children needed. I drove and hour to meet her and instantly fell in love. She was very nervous at first. But a long the way back home she began licking me as if she also knew that she had found her forever home. She was a year old. A full bred Rat Terrier. So incredibly loving and smart.

The Day When an Abandoned Dog Saved My Life
This is a real story. This incident happened to me almost 19 years ago when I was a teenager. I live in a small city in India where we have hundreds of abandoned dogs roaming over the streets. If you don't already know let me tell you that most of the Asian countries have hundreds and thousands of dogs' population and over 70% of them are stray or abandoned dogs. Lately, several non-profit organizations started working for the betterment of street dogs and the numbers are now reducing.

Why are many people bitten by dogs?
The reason why some people get attacked by dogs more often than others is related to their personality and psychology. "I don't know what the problem is, but the dogs are always trying to bite me," a young man in his 20s told Stanley Coren, Professor Emeritus at the Department of Psychology, University of British Columbia (Canada). .
