fact or fiction
Is it fact or merely fiction? Fact or Fiction explores the myths and beliefs we hold about our pets, like why dogs wag their tails and cats purr.
Rocky The Standard Poodle. Top Story - January 2022.
When we were brand new at this game and had just started breeding our dogs, I was always surprised by the strange questions and strong beliefs of people who truly knew nothing about dog breeding whatsoever. Now, I’m not trying to sound pompous or superior in any way, but truly...this story reflects the fact that there are some people, no matter how much science, biology or plain fact obviously state otherwise, they continue to believe what they believe. “DAVE” is a perfect example in this humorous retelling of the tale.

Mutual Of Oh My Gosh
Here's the ( Snoopy referencing The Red Baron? ) dedicated episode prone blogger tackling yet another Mission impossible Challenge. Odds of even gaining entry seem slim. I mean I have no way of challenging for cash prizes or recognition as usual, only this time I cannot meet the submitted photo qualification.

Bulls Like to Tell Stories
My name is Billy and I like to write. It is hard for me to write though because I have hooves. I have hooves because I am Billy the bull. Even though I am discouraged by the fact my hooves make it nearly impossible to hold a pencil or type one key on a board at a time, I write. I live on a farm, and I can not do much for the farmer like the regular bulls because I am not big like they are. But I can tell stories and the farmer likes to hear them. The farmer says if bulls could write maybe I would even win a competition or two.

Kitties Never Say Goodbye
You’d think I’d be used to this by now. We’ve already packed everything we could, and have put a majority of our things in the car, just finishing tidying up before we hit the road, but they are nowhere to be found. We look in their favorite hiding spots, in their cardboard boxes that they refuse to allow us to throw away, and on their favorite chairs, but they aren’t there. We call their names, shake their treat bags, and even offer something special like a plate of cream or a bite of tuna, and still, no response.

Funny Face
It was a pretty ordinary start to the day, I got up as usual around 4 a.m, got my shower, got dressed and ready for work, grabbed coffee to go, walked over and opened the door to leave and as I always do, I turned and grabbed the knob to the front door, closed and locked it. As I started turning to go to my car, I had to literally jump over a brown paper box sitting about two feet away from the door, I then clumsily toppled down the 4 steps onto the lawn and caught myself, but landed on my hands and knees! As the pain set in, out of my mouth came "OWWWW, DAMMIT" very loudly, as I paused to collect myself, then I rolled around and sat down on my tucas and stared for a minute at the box that just caused me to do the flying swan onto my front lawn. It was the size of a large shoe box that was neatly wrapped with plain brown paper. I decided to get to my feet, and investigate said box. I picked it up thinking "did I order something I forgot about"? I noticed it wasn't really heavy and upon picking it up, I immediately felt something moving inside, I freaked out a little and almost dropped it, but decided to quickly put it back down. As I stared at it, I heard a tiny scratching sound coming from the brown paper box, it was the sound of something small and alive, but what could it be? All I could think was "God, please not a rat, I am not fond of them".
