Alone, the room learns my breathing,

walls leaning close like tired friends.

Silence folds itself around my shoulders,

a quiet coat stitched from unsent words.

Even the clock ticks softer here.

"

I speak to memories as if they answer,

holding their echoes in open palms.

Faces flicker behind my eyelids—

not gone, just distant as winter stars,

bright but unreachable.

"

There is a chair that keeps your shape,

a shadow that refuses to leave.

I sit beside absence like an old companion,

tracing the outline of what once was,

careful not to break the stillness.

"

Night arrives without announcement,

pouring ink into every corner.

My thoughts drift like paper boats

on a dark and endless water,

searching for a shore that never calls.

"

Yet somewhere beneath the hush,

a fragile heartbeat keeps time.

Alone does not mean empty forever—

even in the quietest sky,

dawn is rehearsing its light.
