Eating Dandelion Leaves

Will do anything to keep unnecessary inflammation at bay

Everything is a choice,

I went to the market,

saw shelves full of delicious desserts,

tempting to the tongue,

quick dopamine guaranteed

not necessary for the gut.

I ignored them,

it was not hard.

Among other healthy things,

bought a bunch of dandelion leaves.

I boiled them,

discarded the bitter water,

sprinkled some salt,

and ate.

Light stir-fry with

oil and garlic would be great.

Training the tongue to

follow discipline,

value healthy foods.

I fear nothing, like

unnecessary inflammation

have known it's pain.

I will do anything

to keep it at bay.
