Empath

Feeling you

By Rose ParkinsonPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

Reverence can conceal

the moon can beg

but no one listens

twinkling, hanging on

you hold my mind

you walk amongst my dreams

whisper like you always do

silence I beg

away I plead

Limbo; it is for another night's dream

dwelling on the past

breathing in your smoke

begging my dreams

that you are not my ghost

linger around me

the way that you do

holding me gently

I prepare for my dreams

not to overexcite

gently waiting for

in my hope of sight

slave to your nightmares

a nurse to your cries

I beg unencumbered

I plead I beg

find me tonight
