Good Friday

A time to remember

The beams of the cross

Screaming

The nashing of teeth.

The torture.

A device we use as jewelry they knew caused death.

It was excruciating and not even quick

Suffering.

The cross.

The roman device of death

Reserved for the worse

Yet used on the best.
