Hope, Rising

A haiku

Hope, as rays of sun

Burst through the problems and pain,

Rises again and again.

I wrote this in response to a prompt given on Twitter by Melisa Quigley. @MQuigley1963. She asked that we write a six-word story or a poem in response to this image, so I wrote this little haiku.
