Lost Love

Love poem

By Bijan MondalPublished 10 months ago 1 min read

Here's a poem about lost love:

Whispers of Yesterday

I traced your name in misted glass,

A fleeting touch, a love long past.

Echoes linger, soft and low,

Like waves that kiss the shore then go.

Your laughter once lit up the air,

A melody beyond compare.

Now silence hums a hollow tune,

Beneath the watchful, distant moon.

I reach for you in midnight dreams,

Yet wake to find just empty seams.

Fingers grasp at ghostly air,

A love once real, now barely there.

Seasons change, the world moves on,

But in my heart, you're never gone.

A love once held, though now astray,

Still whispers soft in yesterday.
