Love Never Chose Him
But I Still Want Him
He said love never chose him only hatred
But if love ever showed up would he choose it
Do he even know what real love is
He could replace hate with love
I can show him
But his heart grown cold towards every woman who ever hurt him
He let his heart go dark
And won’t let me be its spark
He claims its out of his hands
Not strong enough to fight what his demons demand
He just gave in
And claimed one day he will be open to love again
But not today his demons got him on a mission
I can only pray that his demons release him
And let love finally choose him

The good thing about living in modern times is that LGBTQ representation in media is increasing. Not just in niche and Independant media, either, but also in mainstream media. Books, movies, TV shows, comics... they're finally catching on that LGBTQ+ people form a significant part of their audience, and deserve to see themselves on screen and in fiction, not just as victims in documentaries and true crime shows.
