I dream of a ship from the twilight sky,
A gleaming UFO that zooms on by,
To lift me away from this weary ground,
Where troubles and pain are all I’ve found.
Oh, to be caught in that cosmic embrace,
Leaving behind this familiar place,
A world of worries, of tears and strife,
A fleeting escape from this broken life.
Beyond the clouds, where stars softly gleam,
Where dreams are born and hopes redeem,
I’d soar through the silence, swift and free,
A traveler lost in eternity.
No more burdens, no more fears,
Just endless skies and distant spheres,
A new beginning, a cosmic flight,
Leaving behind the darkness of night.
So pick me up, oh shining craft,
Carry me far from this earthly raft,
To a place where worries cease to be,
And I can find my peace, finally free.

Omgggg, how I wish I would get abducted. Loved your poem!
I love the imagery in this. I would also like to be picked up by a UFO and taken to a place where there aren't any worries. Wouldn't that be nice.
