Refreshingly pricey
I like to drink in pubs
Traditional English beer
Sometimes at home
Often alone
In a bus stop shelter
Hiding from the rain
There to remain
In solitary solace
But sometimes
Just for a change of routine
A slowing of pace
Escape the rat race
Train station commuters bustling
Hurrying from work to home
I like to slip into a quieter place
Sure
I pay a little more
To imbibe
Yet the atmosphere
Is worth
The extra
Spend

On the heels of grief, pain bears down hard. On the heels of death, pain awakens the quiet place between the end of our own life and now. Feeling anything is like seeing a film and in black and white, slow motion, all sound turned off. Just watching. Gritting teeth, awkward smiles and bloody red eyes move around, scanning the others who are feeling something I don't want to feel, but I do. Escapism is all I have ever known. ~

It does look appealing in its ambiance. I think they have to price higher to pay for all the lightbulbs. Here in the States, they are incredibly expensive.
