I don’t know why but the repetition of “Scared” started to feel louder the more I read it, like a heartbeat you can’t slow down. At first it almost seemed simple, even a little strange, but by the third line it felt suffocating — like being stuck in a single emotion with no way out. The “Cat big” at the beginning makes it feel primal, almost instinctive, like fear before language fully forms. Were you trying to show how fear can reduce everything to just one looping thought?
I sense a theme!
