sifts slowly

Sand in the Sahara sifts like a sidewinder

Sand in the Sahara sings whispers to the stars at night

Sand in the Sahara dances with the wind undulating downward toward the valleys and upward toward the peaks

Sand in the Sahara sits still when the winds rests at night, inviting scorpions to cool their scales and stingers after a long scorching day

Sand in the Sahara sheds light on togetherness and brightens up solitude

Sand in the Sahara shares peace and tranquility with you and I

Sand in the Sahara reminds me that we are never alone

Sand in the Sahara illuminates the blackness of the night, the whiteness of the stars, and the goldens of its grains

Sand in the Sahara absorbs every ounce of water in my body

Sand in the Sahara concentrates the moisture from the ocean air into dewey droplets

Sand in the Sahara spends itself in the eternal hourglass of deserts lost time

Sand in the Sahara pushes back on our skin cells, massaging our peripheral nerve endings

Sand in the Sahara outlives all in the test of time
