Silenced

A Poem

I used to marinate myself in emotion

Now I sit here numb

It’s not that bad really

Just strange

Feels like all has drained from my brain

I spent so long trapped in my pain

It was hard to see the sun through the rain

Some days feel like I’ve lost my wind

The tension is unwound

The wound is closing

But I feel lost

Voiceless
