Sleezy!

Poem based on on-call comments I received from a 'friend'.

Sorry for breaking down on Christmas

I was only embracing my divine right

To express myself when the sun slept

Now I must seek consent to breathe

In a world where cheaters thrive

I get it: nobody cares about my depression

Every syllable is considered oversharing.

You don't need to mansplain everything.

You're a nobody & not the whole world

I never lost friends, I lost abusers, but

You're more concerned about my sex life

Than my own well-being and thoughts.

You're no different to other abusers.

Now bugger off back to your drama king throne!

Oh, wow. This came on strong, especially (If I understood well) it comes from messages you received? Creative way of using them.
