We’re standing on the edge, the quarter-finals,
Not quite the final, but breaking all the walls,
It’s a fierce arena, a game of hearts and mind,
And trust me, it’s tougher than you’ll ever find.
We fought through the prelims, sweat and tears,
Battled doubts and fueled our fears,
But here we are, still in the fight,
Rising each day, chasing the light.
It’s not over yet, that’s the mantra loud,
Though the critics say we’re not quite proud,
There’s fire in our souls, sparks in our eyes,
We’re dreaming big, aiming for the skies.
Remember when I first stepped on this stage,
Nervous, trembling, feeling the rage,
But with every stumble, I learned to stand,
Now I’m fighting hard, hand in hand.
And isn’t that what life’s about?
Getting knocked down, then figuring it out,
Quarter-finals, the grind, the test,
But we’re giving it all, doing our best.
So don’t count us out, not just yet,
This ain’t no story of regret,
It’s about resilience, grit, and grace,
The fierce desire to win this race.
We’ve got the spirit, the heart, the fight,
We’re pushing forward into the night,
Because in the end, when the dust settles down,
We’ll be the ones who wear the crown.
And if we fall? Well, that’s just a part,
Of the journey that fuels our beating heart,
Quarter-finals, but the story’s still long,
And we’re singing our victory song.
