Trust Your Voice

Warning: the human soul is endangered.
Suffering will persist if we remain
silent and unmoving.
Anger will consume you if you don't use it wisely.
Attention: trust your voice.
Do not fear if you need help,
there are others that can guide you.
Tell your family and friends—
spread the news day and night.
There's little time to prepare
when evil shows its face in the light.
Notice: play by the rules and we'll lose.
They change them to win in the name of business.
It's time to use our power and spark a thought in one another.
To keep them questioning,
"Why do they still fight?"
Let them know
our souls can't be taken.

It ended like every other stupid idea. Badly, and alone. I’m researching digital confession ethics, he said. A tech ethicist. He gestured at floating data I couldn’t see then pulled out a physical notebook. Actual paper, fountain pen. He held it up like he was showing me scripture.
