Untitled

Almost a poem

By W. S. Published about 10 hours ago 1 min read

Blood in the snow,

Bird in a cage,

The terror in the eyes

Of prey.

I can see my breath,

But I cannot see the Sun,

Hold me as I fade away

To somewhere

Without pain.

I wish for nothing but

The warmth of your hand.

To hear your heartbeat

As my own becomes quieter.

I've never been more at ease.

Bleeding out is easy,

Dying in your arms is peace.

I kind of wish you hadn't stabbed me,

But the more I think of it -

I wouldn't wish for it

Any other way.

I gave you the knife after all.

About the Creator

W. S.

Although I am not a native speaker of English, I hope that my passion will be welcomed here.

Writing for me is an act of love. It is also a way to express what I cannot say, so I hope you're someone who appreciates darker themes. :)
