Sometimes, the standard approach just won't do
Renown eludes the follower of rules
Vanilla physics should not constrain you
Ski up the hill, and shock the normal fools!

There was a time when vanity and greed
Were roundly condemned as wicked vices
When hoarding more wealth than any could need
Would earn you torture with dark devices

But at the moment, lies vanquish the truth
Artifice and illusion rule the day
Manners are made by boorish oafs, uncouth
We relish decadence and swift decay

If upside down is our idea of right
Why not ski up the mountain, just for spite?

That last line is doing a lot of good work in this poem. Really loved the messaging!
Why not indeed? That would truly work the thighs. Our value system has become all skewed. You always find some great art.
Hahahahahaha this made me chuckle. Loved it!
