Why Does Serving Wine at a Specific Temperature Matter?
If you're not a wine professional, you've probably never wondered about serving wine at a specific temperature. But in all honesty, the temperature of your wine will help (or hinder) your enjoyment. If you're raising your eyebrows and skeptically staring at your screen, let's draw comparisons with food. Other than gazpacho, you typically want your soup hot, but not boiling. This Goldilocks Zone helps you enjoy the soup, taste all the flavors, and not burn your mouth. When you're serving wine at a specific temperature, you're exploring a phenomenon similar to this.

Confession of a Teetotaler
I am a weirdo!!! I just realized that wasn't a great way to open up because my friends already know that I am a weirdo. This is nothing new to them. What I meant to say is that I have a strange habit...Oops! They know that, too. Let me just come out and say it: I am a confirmed teetotaler.

Put a Cork in It with These Cool Wine Stoppers
I admit there have been multiple times where I've opened a second bottle of wine, throw out the cork drunkly (believing in myself that I'll finish the bottle), and end up barely making a dent in the wine with no cork to preserve it. It's consistently something that I've done and I'll never learn from it. I had to throw out the wine after opening it with one of the best corkscrew wine openers and pouring it into one of the coolest wine glasses ever made because I didn't have a cork to seal it. This is why I needed to get my hands on a wine stopper so not finishing a bottle is no longer a problem.

Best Corkscrew Wine Openers of 2018
It was Friday and I burst out of the doors at work and headed home, already salivating over the wine at home. I had no plans but to "wine" down with a bottle and binge watch The Office. The more eager I was to drink the wine, the rougher I was trying to open the bottle. Then the worst thing happened—the cork split in half. I cursed at my new corkscrew for being the cheapest tool ever.

For the Grace of God Go I
“For the grace of God go I,” is my mom’s favorite saying. It means “Don’t judge because at the roll of a dice it could be you.” My mother isn’t a particularly religious woman, I mean unless vodka is a religion, but this saying was said throughout my childhood like a prayer.
