The Only Thing Victoria's Secret Has Going for Itself
I remember walking into a very busy Victoria's Secret store and I was greeted by a lovely retail assistant who introduced herself and gave me a little card to fill out, which included questions about what kind of garments I wanted to try on, and the different styles I wanted to see. I was also asked if I needed to be sized, or if I already knew my bra size. This type of customer service in a retail store in this day and age is hard to come by. Even comparative brand "Savage x Fenty" doesn't offer the same kind of in person customer service as it is predominantly online.

Whether it’s back-to-school season or simply the kickoff to fall, your kids are going to need new clothes. Winter is just around the corner. Being a parent of two small boys, I am always looking for sales or bargains... basically low prices. I have to be a lot smarter when I shop these days.

7 Minimalist Fall Styles on My Radar for 2019
Fall is basically here. In LA, the weather is supposed to be a high of 72 today. There’s a faint yellow-orange glow filter on everything outside. It’s just not summer anymore, you know? Which is fine by me. Fall is when my best clothes come out.

The 10 Best Things About Fashion Week
2019 may just be the best year for fashion, as we have so many styles and pieces from each distinctive era behind us to mix and match the best of the best statement pieces over the years. Each of these looks were crafted with a passion and ingenuity that has helped define generations, so it should be no surprise that fashion has maintained its status over the years. It seems, too, that fashion has been getting a bad rap lately, especially with fads like fast fashion and industry standards being carefully under scrutiny. One thing that is beloved about this community though is their ability to put on a show, so what better way to honor that then pointing out the best things about Fashion Weeks all over the world?

Second Hand September. Top Story - September 2019.
I recently discovered the Second Hand September challenge via the wonderful world of Instagram. The premise of the challenge is that you don't buy ANYTHING new for the entire month of September, and in turn you help save the planet, and you also probably help you bank account out as well.

Things You Need to Know About New York Fashion Week
With summer coming to an end, fashion lovers around the world prepare to hit the streets of New York for another iconic and exciting week of fashion, better known as New York Fashion Week (NYFW). Between the months of September and February, New York City hosts the first of four major fashion events, including Paris, London, and Milan to follow. New York, and Bryant Park and the Lincoln Center in particular, will be full of both new and seasoned designers, models, and fashion influencers like Vogue’s Anna Wintour. As well as tons of press, buyers, and, of course, a handful of trend-setting celebrities who are lucky enough to score front row seats and the opportunity to claim any Spring 2020 runway stunners, this show is open to the public and kicks off Friday, September 6, with designs and “performances” from Telfar. Closing, once again, with Marc Jacobs on September 11, these American designers are sure to set the standard for the newly shortened schedule that will showcase the world's most talented and creative fashionistas and all the things you need to know about New York Fashion Week.

Why 2019 Is the Best Year for Fashion
If you would've asked me what was the best era for fashion a year ago I would've said the 90s with the scrunchies and Rachel Green plaid skirts, but after some examination, my conclusion has changed. Maybe it's because of my dad telling me to live in the present, but I believe we are in the best era for fashion. Sure there is a manifold of overpriced t-shirt brands, stores that profit off of fast fashion, celebrity brands, and Friends merchandise taking over the stores, but other than that the state of fashion is doing pretty good for a generation of people stuck on their cell phones. For some who are decades older than me the clothes we see today may be outrageous and they may be fulminating at the sight of what these Instagram models are wearing, but with the help of the equality movement, fashion has changed for the better.

Are Influencers Effective Enough to Provide Value to Businesses and the Social Community?
The ways businesses reach to customers have changed with the fast-growing Internet tools over the years. Now, large businesses and new startups adopt another way to grow and expand through influencers, the modern channel of digital advertising. Society is more engaged than ever before on the Internet, and spends most of the time connected to their social media with apps like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or Snapchat; just to name the top ones, where it’s possible to stay updated with the latest trends, unlimited information and events of the world. And here business owners use influencers who can provide high engagement rates to their websites and increase sales. It’s obvious that social media has been displacing the traditional advertising tools. Even at its early stages, the influencers industry reports yearly earnings of nearly two billion dollars in 2018, and it’s expected to double in the oncoming years.
