A handy guide to all Congress happenings on both sides of the aisle. Thank goodness for this political body that keeps Presidential power in check.
Is the Poorelone Image Worshiping Virus an Aerosol Threat?
There’s something that’s been bothering me lately about what some of our leadership luminaries use to think with. I know they think with their brains, but what are the programs they use in those flesh and blood computers? For example, one might wonder about the professionalism of an architect who uses the horribly simple design app called Home Design 3D as opposed to an architect who uses AutoCad to design your home or a bridge or a stadium. There’s nothing at all wrong with Home Design 3D. It does a fine job for someone who just wants to kind of visualize what he wants to see on an ipad. But an architect has to think about a lot more than what something is sort of going to look like. Only an advanced program like AutoCad mounted on a massive computer can accomplish the level of detail an architect requires. Of course AutoCad has years in its continuing development whereas Home Design 3D may have two or three years of constant improvement.

Puppet Masters
Introduction In this complex web of global politics, this idea that the world leaders are actually puppets moving to unseen forces is not some sort of conspiracy theory but fact. The story details real examples of leaders whose agendas are really controlled by party apparatchiks, corporate interests, and special lobby groups, explaining how endemic the corruption is and just how hard making independent decisions really is.

FBI Charges Biden After Finding the 2020 Election in His Corvette Stingray’s Frunk
I think the most offensive part of the pall that wafts around He-Who-May-Not-Be-Named is the astounding arrogance with which ignorance is displayed. That one trait seems to be a necessary ingredient in all of the issues on the MAGA agenda. Belief takes precedence over reality. It’s as though if something is believed it is more real than something that is actually real. The prime example is the belief that the 2020 election was stolen and stashed in the trunk of Dark Brandon’s Stingray along with umpity-thousand classified documents. Anyone is free to believe what they wish concerning those votes and those documents. Mix and match, no rules required for this one. But that cannot be an accurate picture of reality no matter what set of beliefs is employed. Everyone knows that the trunk of a Stingray doesn’t have that much room. Cripes, it barely has enough room for groceries even when you include the frunk.

Why Isn’t the Far Right Free to Accept Yes?
Reality is something to be dealt with. I know. Astounding, huh? Isn’t that just plain old common sense? I had always heard that reality happens in life and we’re all carried along in the direction the flow reality follows. We can adjust our perceptions to accommodate abrupt changes of direction which reality throws our way. However, that change of direction seems to be out of reach of a fair percentage of the American public. That segment of the population seems to be incapable of ever taking on new ideas or adjusting current ideas to better fit the reality we find ourselves in.

Eyes Wide Opened
Lots of talk about Project 2025. Where did it come from? Who leads it? Why now? This article is a beginning, a look into the platform, the people building it, and the verbiage they are using. It is not an impartial telling, because I am not, in fact, in favor of it. But I'm determined to share their words and ideas so you can make up your own mind. A deeper dive into the platform will follow, and be linked to this article once available.

I think I may have to vote
I wasn't upset when they told me that I couldn't vote anymore. I didn't want to go through the red tape to reinstate my voting privilege. I figured there's no way to ever vote for the right person, and I don't trust the voting system anyway. I've had my opinions about my country, the structure, principles, constitution, legislation, and history. I've been watching things change since the Reagan administration. I could recap all the follies of every Presidency I've endured since 1971. But I won't waste your time with my skewed historical summary. Instead, I will just say that of the three "taboos" (sex, religion, and politics) Americans seem quite satisfied taking on religion and politics, but they are still the most hush hush and hypocritical when it comes to sex.

Did Donald Trump Create The Apex Of Post-Shame Culture?
New York State: "Never back down": The rich and the powerful are exploiting a post-shame society, and it's popularity is growing. Where once the powerful stepped down, now they hang on for dear life until the elephant in the room dissapears.
